Nice location for Myerson Opera to ATT entertainment. Food OK but not much for vegan. Loved the gratis limoncello after dinner

Excellent Mother's Day/Graduation celebration spot. From top to bottom, this was decadent! The homemade pasta was incredibly special! We especially loved the lovely singer! Excellent service, very personable!

Food was delicious! One downside was the service. I felt like the waitress was very cold towards my group. Another downside was the menu says you will receive limoncello after your meal and the waitress did not bring that to us. Food was fantastic, but there definitely could be some improvements on the service.

This is first time to come to La Stella. Picked it out because it was close to Winspear. Food and server was great. We highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks Moody for your 5 star service and help!! Also it was great to see James the general manager and Allen who we knew from another restaurant. They are so great also. Please go to this restaurant.

The dish had the smallest shrimp that we have ever seen and flavorless to boot! The restaurant music is too loud and not pleasant.... Nothing soothing and pleasant! When this restaurant first opened we were there and were patrons for the first couple of years, and then it went down hill, but we wanted to give it one more chance since we were attending, in our neighborhood, the performance of Beauty & the Beast at the Winspear Opera House. So, La Stella is history for us.

The entire staff was kind and receptive to our needs. They knew exactly when to check in on us and made great suggestions. I ordered the Milanese; it was a lot bigger than I expected- and scrumptious to say the least. My favorite part, however, was my beverage. I cannot recall the name, but it was passionfruit juice that I specifically chose to mix with mezcal. It had the perfect ratio and I really enjoyed it. Shout out to our waiter, Moody, as well. He did an excellent job in serving my friend and I. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our experience.

Usually Italian places have been disappointing for us. This place delivered with excellent food and flavors. Their Calabrian chili added great flavors. The decor is clean without a focus on Instagram value. Live music was a plus. We will definitely return; this place lives up to the excellent reviews!

Food was amazing - the meatballs!! They did forget an appetizer, but they gave us no issues in taking it off the check, and, again, the rest of the meal was so good we barely noticed!

The waiter who served us was a very nice person, but he had NO business being in the restaurant business. Very clearly not his calling. Waiting on multiple tables in a busy environment was decidedly not within his capabilities. He had a very hard time focusing and was constantly distracted. At one point we asked for two glasses of Malbec... his response was "we only have Italian wines." He then literally turned around and walked away. I am not joking. We never got our last round of drinks. The manager comp'd a bunch of beverages which was nice, but it did not change the fact that we had a horrible experience. The bill payment also took forever to process. I felt so sorry for the waiter being WAY in over his head that I tipped him very well, but I would not be happy to have him wait on us ever again.

I am never disappointed in La Stella Cucina Verace. From the moment I walk in, until I regretably leave, I am entranced and feel like I am truly in Italy. The food is magnificent, and the staff makes each diner feel like we are gifts. I cannot wait to return.

Great service from Jonathan and our gracious and knowledgeable wine guy. Delicious seafood risotto - tough mark-up on exclusively Italian wine list - got wine guy help and had a super well paired white with our meal. Loved it!

As always an evening at La Stella, both before and after a performance at the Meyerson, is a great night out. The food and service at dinner are excellent, accompanied by live music. Tonight we had the mussels to start; then agnolotti and octopus for main courses. After the symphony we enjoy cocktails at the bar. Paco makes great drinks!

Excellent octopus and pasta. Brazino is expensive considering the small portion. Wife asked for the brazino with olive oil instead of butter. First time around mistake was made by the kitchen but they corrected it 10-15mins later

Our food was over the top excellent! PB&J, Parpadelle, Lobster in several ways was awesome. Live music was a very nice touch. The best part was our server....Cristian Garcia....what a pleasure. This is a big time repeat in our book. You will love it!

Food and service are as good as in the past but the prices have increased dramatically since last time we came a year ago. We had pasta and a glass of wine each and shared a dessert. With tip, 160$ for 2 people. It's great to have live music while you eat but that was our last time...

We went for our 10th anniversary dinner. Staff was friendly, helpful, professional and made wonderful recommendations. Food was superb! And wine recommendation was on point! Highly recommend. Will be back - excellent all around.

They have a new pianist/singer for Friday nights, and he was terrific. A great addition to the restaurant. We had several of our old favorites- mussels, filet, and agnolotti; they were all outstanding. Service by Paco at the bar and Erick at the table was excellent.

Wow. Place was packed on a Tuesday. Amazing live singer. Great Italian food. And the homemade complimentary limoncello was amazing. We met the owner and they are all from Naples. Didn't have much time to hang out because we had show tickets but will be back for the full experience. Classy place.

La Stella was beautiful and very convenient to the Winspear Opera House where we were headed after dinner. The pace was leisurely, yet got us out in plenty of time to make our show. Service was good - but not super attentive. I had to flag down other folks to get our server/salt and pepper/the check. We ordered the Branzino which was very good and the Veal Chop which was done perfectly but pretty tough. The best thing we ate was the grilled octopus appetizer and it was wonderful.
