Cute restaurant with delicious French food and a nice ambiance. Been here a couple of times, it's usually quiet and cozy. Perfect for an evening with your significant other or a small group of friends. I'd recommend getting a bunch of different appetizers and pairing it with nice wine.

What a place. Tony runs a clean front of house and is backed by a strong kitchen. Food was thoughtful and deliberate. Had two bottles of wine as well - excellent. Thanks for a great birthday

I went with my husband and two stepsons and we ordered 4 different main dishes. Everyone was just wonderful! The guy who served us (a thousand apologies, I don't remember his name, but he had straight hair and blue eyes) was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy.

We went for lunch and it was very quiet. It's a quirky little bistro and the food was good not great. Prices for lunch were very reasonable and the service was very nice. Very close to Museum of Natural History so if you want basic French then this is a good option.

The regular Ala carte menu is a wonderful selection of French bistro favorites. But if you go during French restaurant week, you will have the added pleasure of choosing from a terrific 2 course meal, $30 for lunch, or 3 courses at dinner for $60. A terrific value for the quality of the dishes and the great service and atmosphere.

Quelle surprise! Wonderful food, much better priced and food better prepared than any other UWS French restaurant. Friendly service, quarters a bit tight, but the food is worth the visit. We plan to return during restaurant week to see what they entice us to try. Best moules I have had in the city.

A hidden gem. Excellent bistro reminding us of our time in Paris, great food, unpretentious and friendly service.The escargots, profiteroles, and lamb chops were excellent. The modules marinieres were underdone and the only slightly disappointing dish.

We discovered La Sirene in the original location right after they opened. We have been going on our annual trips. This was our first time to the new location and it was delightful! Everything was perfect!

Amazing dinner on the UWS. Services was awesome and our two waiters were fantastic and super friendly. The food was awesome, everything we ordered from Mussels to Gnocchi was incredible. And the timing of the food was great, not rushed at all but perfectly timed with our apps and wine order. Having a place three blocks away will definitely make this our go to spot. Check it out, you'll love it.

I have written a number of reviews for La Sirène before, all raves and five stars. The food is just as great (MUST have the goat cheese tart!), service is warm and accommodating, indoors is small, intimate, rustic and lovely and outdoor dining spaces comfortable, attractive, and not too busy.. This time I noticed that the prices have gone up quite a bit, plus they now annoyingly charge extra for credit cards. It feels a bit high now for the kind of restaurant this is (neighborhood gem). Our bill was $444 for a party of 3. That included a cocktail for each, $67 bottle of wine and a glass of wine. Not terrible by Manhattan standards. Just higher than I’ve come to expect here, with entrees mostly in the mid-30s to mid-40s. Inflation is largely the culprit but it would be nice not to have the mandatory credit card charges.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is consistently great and the service is just right. It is a fairly small restaurant so it is crowded but friendly. A wonderful pick and neighborhood favorite.

This was our third time visiting La Sirene.All our meals have been fresh and well prepared as well as delicious.The wait staff are friendly,courteous and available.The light background music provided an atmosphere of warm ,intimate conversation.

Perfect dinner! We ordered the escargot, beef carpaccio, broiled pear with blue cheese, French onion soup and the fancy pate for appetizers and the rabbit saddle and fancy stew for mains. It was exceptional! Perfect wine pairing too!

The service was not very attentive. We ate in the parklet and did not see much of our server. I got the sense that they may have been understaffed. I eventually had to go inside to make sure our food was coming. I was a bit embarrassed with my dining companions because I had picked this restaurant based upon good reviews and the reviews did not match up to our experiencex

Food was excellent and service also Attractive place very French Enjoyed good cocktails—kir and margaritas We started by sharing pate compagne which was delicious Each enjoyed our duck breast and shared a rather large profiterole We thought excellent restaurant and hope to return Ate inside on cold, rainy night but they do have lots of outdoor tables for those wanting them.
