Interesting menu, great food, great service, exemplified by the fact that the moment you open the wine list, the sommelier comes by to offer input, overall very warm and inviting place at a very fair price.

The food and service were excellent. The waitress helped my wife select her entree and clarified the taste of the hose Bordeaux that I ordered (it’s a bit lighter than a typical Bordeaux which is totally fine for me). My hanger steak was excellent. The red snapper my wife had was also fabulous. And the profiteroles for desert were to die for. The restaurant is cozy - felt small due to the set up, but is deceivingly large as there are multiple rooms. It’s a little noisy when full, but not so much that it’s uncomfortable. It’s right by the entrance to the Holland Tunnel, but when inside you would not notice that. Only accepting AMEX was the only bummer. So bring AMEX or bring cash. We’re definitely going back!

Wonderful experience. Classic French dishes done right . Good wine list . Solid house wines. Rabbit was perfect , filet in pepper sauce was perfect . Duck was slightly over cooked for medium rare. Service was on point . Attentive and kind. Definitely a staple for French cuisine

If you are looking for authentic French superb country cooking with a charming ambiance and authentic french staff and owners: look no further. Traditional fare not often found is well represented on the menu including authentic Toulousian cassoulet. Prices are definitely on the steep side, wine list is not broad but traditional. Bring your appetite and if you are a fan, order the profiteroles for dessert!
