Celebrated husband's birthday with another couple. When we ordered dessert it came on a decorated plate and everyone sang Happy Birthday. Fun! Great service.

Looking for fresh, delicious Italian food made with care and quality ingredients and an attentive , friendly staff? La Pizzeria is the place to go! The meatballs were surrounded by a delicious tomato basil sauce. The gnocchi in Gorgonzola cream were light pillows of deliciousness. The linguine and clams were fresh with the perfect al dente on the pasta. Had to order a pizza out of that beautiful pizza oven; Cotto was yummy. The Crema Catalana was over the top!

Pizzas were excellent, some pasta dishes were very good. But two things need work. Fried calamari were awful. Somehow cooked to rubber but not crispy and the inclusion of un-chewable calamari tentacles was ridiculous. Also very bad was the Spaghetti Nero di Seppia. The calamari included was again generally inedible as it was so tough. The awful tentacles were there again and way too much squid ink (probably from Cuttlefish) was used overwhelming the dish. There are other Sicilian versions of this dish that use squid ink blackened pasta with wine and garlic sauced seafood that are much more inline to American tastes. Bottom line - Take the pizza leave the calamari.
