or the past ten years, we've been offering a unique concept in Playa del Carmen by serving traditional food from different regions of Mexico, accompanied by a selection of traditional mezcals and cocktails designed to complement the menu. Over time, our menu has explored and perfected the use of unique and culturally significant ingredients through classic dish recipes. Like any good Mexican restaurant, music has always been present through local artists and internationally renowned musicians, providing a true sensory experience.

We are a team passionate about Mexico and its traditions deeply rooted in culture; our mission is to offer diners an experience that evokes the memory of our ancestors through our beverages and dishes.

Favorite restaurant I’ve been to in Playa de Carmen. A bit further off the beaten path, but excellent food, service, atmosphere, and price. We had two fans at our table and plenty of shade if thats a concern!

Great area with many options for food. La Perla Pixia was really great. We were a bit early for our reservation, but didn’t have too wait long for our table. Many options to choose from, and my advice is just choose something and it will be great! The staff is very attentive and helpful. We’re looking forward to returning in the future.

Service was great. Both the server and tequila guy were knowledgeable and nice. The food was good and the tequila list was one of the best we’ve seen in playa del Carmen and tulum.

We had the most amazing dinner at La Perla Pixan Cuisine. Not only was the service exceptional, so was the food. We shared the bread chile and I had the stuffed pepper with shrimp (chile relleno) and my husband had the steak tacos. Our server was beyond helpful to make sure we understood information about the dishes and offered great suggestions on the drink menu. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious - great jungle vibe, really good mezcal, and amazing food. Definitely the sort of place you should plan to spend a lot of time (mezcal tastings & multi-course deals come at a relaxed pace so you can eat/drink slowly and enjoy it all), but we had a 7:45 Valentine’s Day reservation and needed to catch the 10pm ferry back to Cozumel and our waiter was awesome about recommending we order off of the main menu instead of doing a full tasting & keeping things coming as quickly as we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Excellent dinner & experience all around.

Great ambience on a really cool street. Good service and excellent drinks. The food was average but to be fair I am not as familiar with local Mexican cuisine. The ceviche starter was average compared to some other restaurants in Playa. The mole dish had too much mole if that is such a thing. If over powered the rest of the dish.

Muy caro, veníamos alejándonos de los precios para gringos y fuimos decepcionadas. 7 camarones pequeños, por700 !!!! Pensé que habría mayor oferta de cócteles y tampoco fue así, todos los tragos dulces :(

The menu is definitely unique and interesting. Good appetizers and drinks. The entrees were disappointing. No flavors and very expensive, and you’re not warned about the portions. Overall, we left feeling disappointed and like we had spent way too much money for mediocre entrees.

We had a great time at this restaurant until we received the bill. My daughter tried to pay with a credit card and the waiter was having a hard time getting the charge to go through. He said they had poor internet connection, which we knew because we had a hard time accessing the menu online. He tried a couple of times to get the charge through and it wasn't happening, so I decided to pay with cash. Well, two days later a charge appears on her bank account so basically, we ended up paying $200.00 for a $100.00 meal. Still trying to resolve through her bank, but if you go here be careful of paying with a credit card.

Power outage occurred couple minutes before taking our seats and ordering some guacamole and drinks. Once the outage occurred some of us got the drinks and the guacamole but we were told that they will not be able to cook for another one and a half hours, which is not ideal for hungry customers nevertheless, it can happen to lose electricity BUT they made us pay for the couple drinks that they did bring and the Guacamole which I did not find alright, something or anything could have been offered to be on the house…. Can’t say anything about the food…

Very good restaurant with delicious food. Our waiter was very nice. She did a mezcal tasting that was amazing. We loved it!

We loved our experience here! The food and drinks were really good, there was live performances by traditional Mexican dancers. Our server Ivan was the best! He had so many good recommendations for us. Would definitely come back.

Definitely a spot for tourists, but the menu was good/food was all good. Great cocktail/mezcal list, although drinks took awhile to come even though the restaurant was about half full. Dancers and live music when we went on a Saturday night.

Our dinner at La Perla Pixan was excellent. This was our last night in Mexico and wanted to celebrate at an authentic Mexican restaurant. Both of our dinners was excellent. They also had live music suitable for dining. Loved everything.

Nice entertainment ( live music and dancers) however the food was less than average. Kids chicken tacos were very bland, rib eye steak was all grissel and the veggies over cooked, my other friends steak came out cold, we sent it back to see the cook slather more salt over it and put it back on the grill, needless to say it came out like salty leather, my Chile relleños came out cold I sent it back, it came back still cold… margaritas were too sweet ( ie: were not made with real lime juice). Over all a disappointing experience, will not be going back.

Poor service. Forgot several drinks and one of our meals. No apology. Menu on your phone via an app but we only had one phone between us- no actual menu for us to look at. Food was average
