Come and enjoy our low-priced wines, wood-chip smoked bourbons, and fresh fare. We recommend The Bayou Fish and the Shaken Beef (filet mignon). We strive to bring a fresh and exciting take to Milton. Le Mer fish was a trout with a few vegetables for $49. Not tasty and too expensive for this kind of fish

I'm a Crabapple resident and I love seafood so have been looking forward to checking out Le Mer. My issues started with logistics, having to park in among office buildings and walk across Broadwell Road as there was no available parking in the lot next to the restaurant. This is a serious issue, especially for customers with mobility/access challenges. Once inside it was evident that a wine tasting event had started. The staff was busy with it but eventually got me and my guest to our table. The dining room was upstairs and over the bar. After an initial greeting and our appetizer order our server went downstairs. We saw that our table was being blasted by an air conditioning duct only a couple feet from near our table. As my guest and I looked over our menus, we saw that we each had a different version of it. We wanted to ask clarifying questions but our server was no longer upstairs. Then noise from the wine tasting event got deafeningly loud. We decided this was obviously not a good time to visit. I quietly went downstairs and paid my check (for the bottled water we had received) and left. This was unfortunate. I hope these were just growing pains of a new restaurant and that things improve. I want to offer that we had no issues with our server, but with the logistics and organization of the restaurant. Thanks.

It is nice to have a seafood restaurant in the neighborhood but I doubt I will be going back very often. Everything is very expensive, almost $500 including tip for our party of 4, all entrees start at $49 and up. Service is very inconsistent, especially for the price tag. Food is pretty good, but not exceptional.

Overall I was very pleased. Get the Filet Wok dish. Vietnamese asian style steak over vegetables. Its a little pricey but not disappointed like other restaurants where food is expensive and then not good. The food is great. Wonton appetizer is a good starter. Service was excellent. Good date night atmosphere!

Simply stated, this newly minted gastro sparkle in Milton can best be described as south east Asia meets New Orleans, traveled to New York and vacationed in South Beach! The dishes are Vietnamese inspired with a nod to Cajun cuisine, but the beauty is in its subtlety. Neither genera is overt, but the delicate balance creates a whole new sensation on the palate. The decor is reminiscent of New York underground chic, with gorgeous sea life shaped lighting and amazing tile work throughout, down to the fish-scaled ceramic wall in the water closets. When esthetics and cuisine abound, drinks usually disappoint, however, not here! The bar is replete with specialty libations, all prepared by Barry, the bar manager and inspired by his Miami experience. In all, this place will not disappoint. Excellent for “date night,” meeting friends and anytime you just want to sit back and enjoy a great meal and cocktails with a laid back lounge-like vibe.

Food was good but very overpriced. I had a stir fry beef dish that I could have gotten at a great Asian restaurant for half the price. My husband had a fish dish that he kept picking bones out of. Probably won't return.

First time at this new spot in Milton. Really unique food and cocktail menu. Definitely coming back to try more items. Our server (Gray) was very attentive and helpful. Cocktails were on point and food was great. We left very full! Only thing on ambience is music is louder than it probably needs to be.

Excellent food and the service was outstanding. Server Gray was very professional and owner gave us a round of drinks and a dessert as part of our anniversary celebration. Overall a great night out!

We enjoyed our first visit to La Mer. The food and service were excellent. We were seated upstairs and the owner came up and greeted us. All 4 of us really enjoyed our meals

Really great addition to downtown Milton (Crabapple). Intimate spot with exceptional service. Hostess called ahead to let us know about the new garage parking since it was raining. Our waiter Gray was attentive and knowledgeable. We had a few special requests that the kitchen handled flawlessly. We had several appetizers including shrimp cocktail, chicken eggrolls and vegetarian spring rolls. The mixed drinks were perfect. I had the lobster creole. The whole lobster came cut in half, avoiding the mess. My wife had Bayou fish. She doesn't eat shell fish so the kitchen made a cream sauce for her. Our client had shaken beef and looked like he really enjoyed. The owner, Thanh, came by and bought us 2 desserts. I might not have ordered lemon meringue but it was outstanding. From start to finish the experience was top notch and we will be back.

We made reservations but then decided to head your way bar. We had great wonton appetizers the lobster and snapper dishes! The restaurant manager and bartenders ate amazing. Great ambience with nice not loud music

First visit to Le Mer. Four of us enjoyed this new establishment very much. Had a 6:45 reservation and were greeted and seated promptly. Started with four cocktails that were all really delicious and unique. Had Seafood Gumbo and Spring Rolls for appetizers. The Gumbo was very good with just the right spice. Would suggest to fully remove the shell from the shrimp (left the tail on) and to add a small amount of Andouille sausage. The Spring Rolls were fantastic! Second round of cocktails were just as good as the first! For something really unique try the Western Wasabi. Meals were Le Mer Fish (Red Snapper,) Creole Lobster, Shaken Beef and Vung Tau Fried Rice. All were very good. Flavor of Shaken Beef was excellent but would like a larger portion (7 oz.) for $39. Creole Lobster was excellent. Came with spiced shrimp, potatoes and asparagus. Every aspect of the dish was delicious. Save room for the Flaming Alaskan, Le Mer's take on Baked Alaska. They torch it at the table for a great presentation and the flavors were awesome. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun but not loud. We noticed the owner interacting with several tables. I am very big on the total experience and it would have really hooked me in to visit again had he come by and interacted with us.
