The menu can be a bit overwhelming, but our server was exceptional. The Ceviche's, the Pulpo Anticuchera, the veggies, (suggested we just get the half order since we ordered so much) and plantain chips, DELISH!!! I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys Peruvian cuisine.

We love La Mar Cocina Peruana and drive up to the city for special occasions. The food is always stellar and service outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

Service was the worst that I have ever had in any restaurant in thew world, Server was downright hostile and accused us of lying. Leadership intervened and they tried to solve the problem but in the end did nothing but give us a free desert. My assumption is that they pay attention to large parties and we were only three because the tip and revenue would be larger.

Mother’s Day brunch was fantastic. The selection on the buffet was amazing! Ceviche, assorted sushi, salads, barbecued chicken, shrimp and steak. Everything was delicious! The dessert section was incredible! Can’t wait for next year!

Food was wonderful. Very fresh and deliciously prepared. It seemed the restaurant was overwhelmed. Service was a bit slow. Some of the complementary carb didn’t come with the main dish until we mentioned to the server towards the end and we have to request some service such as changing of plates etc. That’s the reason for the 4 star service. We had been to the restaurant several times and were always impressed by the tentative service. We definitely noticed the lag of it last night.

Our drinks and service were a 10/10 ! Our food was a 6/10 it wasn't too flavorful and we paid around $600. So to not be fully satisfied it was a bit disappointing.

Second time at La Mar. Absolutely amazing experience. Was sat outside in a super busy Friday night. Food was exquisite. Started with the LAQUEADO, a Tiraditos. I had the SALMÓN NIKKEI as my main and my husband had the EL ACHUPADO. Both dishes were amazing. So many drinks to choose from, but we both ordered off the Mocktail menu. METROPOLITAN SPRITZ was super light and refreshing. My husband had the GOLDEN GARDEN. Very light and refreshing, not sweet. Will definitely be back!

Amazingly good food: easy to share and a myriad of flavors with no redundancy. The only disappointment was the tapioca dessert with avocado ice cream: each on their own was excellent, but the flavors together didn’t really work…

Our dinner at La Mar Cocina Peruana was outstanding. We were seated outside on a clear & warm night. The view was perfect. The service could not have been better. Every single dish was crafted to perfection and the flavors were amazing. This restaurant exceeded our expectations. I did not look closely at reviews before booking but knew we really wanted Peruvian food. I'm completely happy and look forward to going back.

I was on a tight timeframe and dining solo. My seat was great and I felt well taken care of by the team. Food and drink was prompt and delicious. Bar area was a little overwhelmed and hence slow to place a cocktail order. I would go again and for personal or business meals.

We made reservations for two for our anniversary and noted on the reservation it was for our anniversary. Three of the staff were kind enough to note it was our anniversary. However when we were seated, the seating was so tight it was like we were at the table with the two on our right and our left. The noise was so unbearable that everyone could clearly hear the other tables conversations. It’s like they want to maximize space and increased the table per row. The problem is that it feels like a high school cafeteria. The food was ok but I think we were so put off by the noise and proximity to others that we just ate in silence and tried to get out of there with no cocktails, first course or dessert. I can’t see me going back for an intimate date night. Maybe to pregame a Giants game. Such a shame.

Ok. Definitely not as good and exciting as it once was! The causa was the highlight- all the rest was poorly executed, including the cebiches… The lomo saltado had like 4 small pieces of meat in a bed of fried potatoes… very skimpy for a steep price….

Luis was great as he answered our questions and made recommendations. We shared the brut champagne, the chilled cangrejo chalaco, grilled pulpo, and taro and plantain chips. Everytime I’ve dined here, it always reinforces my preference of Peruvian cuisine over Mexican. This restaurant is on my dining rotation list.

We ordered the chef's tasting menu with wine pairings and the food was unusual and outstanding, as well as beautifully presented. Our server was pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable.

In town for a girls weekend and birthday lunch and got seated out in the beautiful patio on a perfect day! We ordered two cocktails ( delicious!) and the trio of ceviche was outstanding and fresh. Server was great too! I had left some small souvenirs on the table and they called to let me know but I was too busy to go back to retrieve them. That’s next level service so whoever wants to keep the magnets they are yours! Just as amazing as when I went 10 yrs ago. Will be back. TY!
