Located on the 34th floor of the recently debuted AC Hotel Downtown LA, La Lo La Rooftop, is an ethereal, sophisticated oasis high above the heart of DTLA. Spanning almost 4,000 sq.ft, the expansive wraparound rooftop, designed by award-winning design studio Yabu Pushelberg, provides an intimate setting for visitors and locals. Guests are invited to enjoy specialty cocktails, Spanish-style tapas, and a rotating program of live music and DJs — all with commanding 270 degree views of the city.

Súper si te lounge vibes. Tapas were very good. The gambas al ajillo were delicious! Over all super cute with a nice overview of Los Angeles.

Wait staff did not feel engaged with us nor the other patrons she was attending to. We did not get napkins or silverware until we asked for it, but that wasn’t until after the first two dishes were delivered. Water was served in clear plastic cups you’ll find in a party pack or Doctor’s office. We ordered the Ahi Tuna, patatas bravas, and steak skewers. The Ahi tuna was served with 6 chips and tuna was tasteless, except the best part was the cilantro. The patatas bravas was served in a small dish with a regular spoon, not even a serving spoon so it was hard to serve without making a mess. The steak skewers were delivered much later, only after we reminded the waitress we were still expecting it. When it was finally served, it was a cool temperature—felt as though it was just sitting out for a while. We decided to just finish and ask for the check quickly after as to not spend more time waiting if we had sent the dish back to be warmed up. We each had one cocktail which took more than 20 minutes to be made and delivered, even though it was not busy.

Music is loud & most tables are low. Below the knee low. Overall the food was good, and priced fairly.

Chris was amazing. The bartender team seemed a bit overwhelmed and our drinks took a very long time to come out and be served, it we were chill. Chris was covering for our server while she was on break. (That seemed to take a very long time) We ordered one of everything on the tapas menu twice and the food was good and a couple of the tapas were inconsistent the second time. Thank you for accommodating us! We had fun

I live in LA, this place is a 10 minute commute for me, I wanted to give it a try despite the negative reviews. I promise you, the reviews are all accurate. I would give this place negative stars if I could. No one was there to check us in, finally someone comes and sits us right away. It’s 9pm on a Saturday and they took maybe 15 minutes to take out drink order. Then, 30 maybe even 40 minutes to tell me “so sorry but we are out of x drink you ordered”… you mean the “specialty drink” on the menu is not available? And it’s like 9pm ? OK. I ask for another drink to replace it. 2 cocktails & 1 beer =$60 tab. My boyfriend and I are down to spend $20-even $30 on a drink. We live in LA, I UNDERSTAND THE PRICES. But if you’re paying $18-20 for a drink, I expect the service to be top notch tbh. We paid the tab and left to 33 taps downstairs. It’s always a vibe. Idk why we even bothered to go upstairs for this. I promise you the vibes are WAY BETTER WAY CHEAPER lol. Trust me, from someone who doesn’t mind expensive, the service isn’t worth it. Not to mention when we got up to leave the bouncer didn’t even look our way. Going to have to pull the race card and say maybe it was because we are latinos. But everywhere else you get a “thank you for coming” or anything… guess he did not like his tip lol 🤣. Of all the LA rooftops I’ve gone to, this is a 1/10. Please believe the bad reviews, lol I’m an LA native- love DTLA, love the crypto and LA LIVE, love the area, this is a must a waste of time and money. Check out the carousel bar at level 8 for a better time.. if this is your ambiance. We had a better experience there and it’s right next door. Never have left a negative review but this one was SO disappointing I felt inclined to let everyone else know..

I live around the corner and decided to bring my mom for Mexican mothers day. We arrived at 8:15. We ordered our drinks and food, 30 mins later we’re being told its last call due to the wind. Our original food order hadn’t arrived yet but we added extra food items during last call just to be on the safe side. Once our food arrived, we were missing two of the items order so we waited and then finally asked for a follow on the two items and got told they would be out shortly. The items never came and the waiter took a long time to come by again. Our heaters had been turned off by staff at that point but other guest still had theres on so it made me feel as if the staff just didnt want us there. We waited in the cold with no heater for at least 10 minutes before someone came by with our check. LA is very deceiving and i would suggest not judging guest because of race. we have just as much money, if not more than the rest of the guest that were there.
