Absolutely loved dining here. Everything was outstanding! For such a busy place, I’m amazed how great it was. We ordered our drinks, and they were there in a few minutes. Ordered the steak tartare was an appetizer to share with housemade chips. They were delicious. For dinner, we chose the scallops and rack of lamb. Both were cooked to perfection. Had to have a side of pomme frites, and they were seasoned perfectly. Was too full for dessert but definitely next time. Also, it was my niece's birthday, and they gave her a beautiful book all about the restaurant which was a lovely touch. Will definitely come back to this fine establishment!!!!!

Food was excellent! Service was a little bit slow, but overall, it was very delicious food, beautiful restaurant and we enjoyed it very much!

I am always conflicted with La Boucherie. Been to another one and had a decent meal, but my gripe was the steaks. Had the flank steak and it was chewy. At La Grande my sons wanted the Tamahawk steak. Looked great but also again meat was tough. The Pomme Frite were Pomme Soggy, again. Noise level was extreme. Have a hard time justifying the price tag with so many amazing steakhouses in NY

Had a reservation but had to wait 30 minutes nonetheless. Although food was great we always had to look for the waiter to order.

The food rated a B. The steak tartare was bland. I would not order it again. The olive sauce over duck was way too salty. I would not order it again. The pasta with the duck was cooked al dente, which was perfect. The house cocktail was perfect. The service was very good despite a busy evening.

We have been to this restaurant a few times in the past and I was surprised how much have changed since. We were seated right away but that was only best thing that happened the service went down hill from here. It took so long for someone to arrive and ask if we wanted water on our table. Then we asked the same guy if he could light up the candle on our table and he came back with the water and totally forgot about our request re: the candle. We waited for our main server for over 20 minutes just to get our drinks and quickly left without asking if we ready to put in our main order as we were waiting for some time. Instead he left in hurry after taking our drinks order and we waited for more time for him to get our appetizer and entree order that we had to ask someone if he can find our main waiter. It just seems like the servers are just walking around the restaurant but not actually doing what they are supposed to do. Our empty appetizer plates were sitting still on the table and the guy bringing our main entree expecting us to clear the table while he hands us the hot plate. It's unbelievable and unprofessional that this servers are disorganized. I know that it's busy but it's unacceptable. We even have to ask a few times just to refill our glasses for water. Not impressed with the food I ordered, the escargot is too salty, the chicken dish is too spicy , too much sauce/gravy and yet the chicken is quite dry, the chocolate dessert was dry and stale. I'm very disappointed with this visit. This is not the La Grand Boucherie that we know and love.

It wasn't always like this. I booked in advance, but they seated my guest and me in a very bad spot right in front of the toilet. This used to be my go-to place every weekend, but recently, the quality and service have been much lower than they used to be .

Fantastic French restaurant! Huge! Very interesting deco - it is build between 2 buildings. Absolutely must go. Where layers because you dont know where you will sit - can be breezy or indoors warm.

It was Mother’s Day, the place was like “Grand Central “. However on normal weekday the place has tremendous potential to be more enjoyable. Food is good and service was good. A bit pricey. I will try it again on a weekday.

We had an amazing brunch at La Grande. The eggs were cooked perfectly, in the French way of course. The juice was also very fresh. Desserts were phenomenal. Try the passion fruit tart pie thing!

Didn't meet expectations. My wife ordered a med rare burger with a side salad instead of fries. They brought a well done burger with fries & forgot the salad. My daughter ordered a double espresso and got a regular coffee. We were billed for both on the check. My steak wasn't the best and the frites weren't hot & crispy. We anticipated a much better meal from this highly recommended restaurant. All the mistakes were corrected, but a restaurant rated #4 in TripAdvisor shouldn’t get so many things wrong. Very disappointed. Won't return.

Food was ok, below average for NYC and the prices that were charged. 65-90$ for a steak which if its REALLY good is ok. This was not. French fries served well but cold. Drinks were ok as well not special. Overall easy for BDWY and with kids but may not be worth it.

The food and drinks were outstanding, however, the service was not great. We were seated at the same time as a table next to us and they ordered and got their food before we even ordered. We were waiting with empty plates on the table for nearly 10 minutes. We were seated directly next to a bussing station which was very noisy with waiters often standing directly next to me. For the price, I’m not sure if the experience was up to par.

We came to celebrate my mother’s birthday and eating here was a highlight of our weekend. The hostesses were all so warm, friendly and helpful. We sat outside in the cafe area and admired how beautifully decorated everything was. Having recently returned from Paris, we were surprised and delighted that our Madame Croquettes were better than any we had had in Paris. And the gaspacho was better than any we have had in Spain. I asked where they got the tomatoes for them and they special order ripe tomatoes from a special vendor. You must order the gaspacho! The complimentary French bread and butter are so fresh and delicious. We had a wonderful waiter named Pape who took care of all his tables with such kindness. Assisting him was Helder who was always there for all our extra requests with an eager smile. I was also impressed that the manager, Evan, was floating around making sure the diners were all content. So impressive! I can’t wait to return!

food was mediocre at best, but your paying the price of a high end restaurant for some reason. Pasta+eggs bene+ soup+coffee = $150+ bill.. please help me make sense. Food was wasn't even good.

We had the pre- theater menu which was a good value and served efficiently without feeling rushed. The restaurant is lovely and bustling. We would definitely return for a more leisurely meal sometime. And the barrel-aged Negronis were excellent!

Gorgeous restaurant. Definitely worth seeing at least to have a beverage and appetizers. I had French Onion Soup it had an exorbitant amount of cheese and croutons which made it almost inedible. I had the scallops as my main dish and while tasty, lukewarm warm. Service was mixed. The person who took our order was somewhat dismissive while the person filling our waters and clearing plates was polite and attentive. Overall, overpriced and mediocre.

Truly fine dining with professional service. Everything was delicious. Classy interior. Nice variety of items on the menu. Just bring $$$$.

The manager let our waiter clock out and took over for him... then forgot about us. I had to go looking for him after waiting hours (literally) for our entrees. The dishes were hot and my halibut dried out, which meant they sat under the heat lamps in the kitchen for too long. The cauliflower appetizer was flavorless. I reserved a table in the restaurant, which looked lovely on the website. They seated us outside in the atrium, which felt like dining in a mall's food court. Not the festive evening I was hoping for.

Good dinner but not sure Europeans visiting a French style restaurant expecting the best should have such high expectations.

Great service but not some of the dishes aren't worth the price. Overall a good dinner.

Food has gone down hill. I had two meals there recently and will not be going back soon.

Everything was beautiful! From food to the ambience, just amazing. Our server Bessi was attentive and even checked in to make sure we didn’t have a show to go to in case we were in a rush! Just a wonderful experience.

It for sure has a very energetic vibe but bit too loud. The service level was great as expected. Going to a popular French restaurant you already have quite high expectations and LGB lives upto it. My Halibut was fantastic. Btw they also have a pre theatre fixed menu at a super decent price usually for the weekend but now it’s also available during the week days
