At La Française Bistrot, we bring Family back to the Family ski town, by being one of the only family-operated businesses in Summit County. From father, mother, daughter and son-in-law, we share the best of what our family loves and cherishes: good food, good wine and a good time.

With 40+ years of experience as a chef, Yvan Heraud has won multiple honors for his work. As the chef and owner of La Française Bistrot, Heraud brings traditional and refined French cuisine to Breckenridge, inspired by the Rocky Mountain lifestyle and fresh, simple, local ingredients.

What a delicious dinner…from the escargot to the steak frites…the green peppercorn sauce to the vegetable croustade it was all wonderful…so tasty and so French…our only regret we were too full for a French dessert! It was such a special meal with wonderful service and ambiance!

Because I requested a romantic table we were at the window, the best seat in the house! The Beef bourguignon was amazing! Service was outstanding! We will definitely be back!

A classic and genuine French bistrot. From the appetizers to the dessert we felt like we were getting authentic French cuisine. The bread was to die for with tapenades and preserves. Would recommend the entree of the day. The desserts were sublime. Five stars from this client!

Such a great meal. French food is our favorite and this place was fantastic. I loved everything we ate especially the beef tartar and the escargot with the bone marrow. Can’t wait to come back next time. Thanks Joe and team!

The food and service were fantastic. Dessert was amazing we had the Croustillant Fruits Frais. Felt like we were transported to a Paris bistro. 🇫🇷🥂

We enjoyed our meal, service, and staff. My husband and I had our easter dinner at this restaurant and we plan to return. The kitchen staff/chef were engaging and delightful. We will be back! A little bit of France in Breckenridge.

Great gem. Small restaurant so make reservations. The menu is vey French. We enjoyed the mussel appetizer as well as the duck entree. The veal was lightly breaded but very good as was the beef burgundy. Reasonable priced wine list.

The onion soup, the mussels and escargots were a slight variation on the classic French and were so good. Everything was great. So were the wines. We have eaten there many time and have never been disappointed. The owners are friendly. Great desserts, too.

La Francaise Bistrot was simply AMAZING. We over ordered because we couldn’t decide between several delicious dishes! The service was warm and friendly- you were dining with your relatives. The desserts were beautifully served and delicious! We started with the French Onion soup- the best. Entrees Hanger steak and the lobster pasta special. Desserts- Creme Brulee, and 2 other specials. We happily left with to go boxes. 10 out of 10.

Every dish was a delight. Truffle fries were loved by the whole table. Everyone tried all five entrees at the table and loved every one of them.

We had a wonderful experience at a family meal last night. The food was excellent and service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. We will definitely return!

We celebrated our 1st anniversary here and it was quite memorable. Such a cute, family-run, warm and cozy place! The owners were incredibly nice, the food was amazing and the ambiance is hard to beat. I ordered the scallops and pork belly dish. It was full of flavor and the purée was so silky smooth. Looking forward to visiting the next time we are in town!

4th visit as great as the first, special this night was rack of lamb chops, great escargo and a nice bottle of wine. Service was very attentive. Don’t pass this place up

We love to come to this restaurant. We discovered it in December 2023 and couldn’t wait to come again. The fish I had was delicious and the special was amazing! We started with onion soup and ended with an excellent upside down apple something 😁 dessert. Highly recommend. Don’t miss. Make your reservation asap. Plan to come back next year. Thank you for the great food and lovely people, especially the chef. Bravo well done.

We sat at the chefs table and it made for a very pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic French cuisine. Perfect dinner after the slopes.

The place was charming and the family that runs it were very nice and clearly hard workers. Unfortunately the food fell a bit flat for me. Everything (except the butter, delicious) needed salt. The scallops were good quality, but under seasoned. The pork belly was very chewy. The tarte tatin had this caramel sauce on it that was so burnt it was inedible. It ruined an otherwise tasty dessert. I wasn’t going to leave a review thinking maybe it was on off night. That was until the end of the meal. Our server brought us our check, I reviewed it and it was correct, handed over my credit card and then he proceeded to have the owner review it in front of us to check it again after he already gave it to me. I found this incredibly rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t return.

Excellent meal in a small family owned French country bistro. Less than a dozen tables so the service was very personal. The scallops were perfectly seasoned and well prepared. This was one of my favorite meals ever in Breckenridge.

The smell of baking pastries and desserts fill the air as you enter the establishment and you are immediately hooked. The restaurant is very small but it adds to the cozy ambiance of an authentic cuisine with old world charm. The service was prompt, efficient but unhurried, and genuinely friendly. The food, as anticipated, was authentic and delicious. We left grinning.

Fantastic dinner yet again!! La Fracaise never disappoints ! From the delicious Kir Royal cocktail, the yummy Brouilly wine, the warm goat cheese salad and the classic Steak Frites it was a fabulous evening with friends.
