Welcome to La Crosta Woodfire Pizzeria Italiana. Here we share our vision of authentic Italian traditional pizza, which dates back to the Greco-Roman period and starts with fresh, high quality ingredients. Many of them are flown in from Italy, including our tomatoes, flour and burrata cheese. Our dough is handmade daily. In fact, La Crosta in Italian means “the crust” and we believe our fluffy crust is the best in the business. In all, I’ve created a comfortable restaurant for you and your friends to spend time together and create new memories.

Great service got welcomed in by name as soon as I walked in! Made us feel important and gave us excellent service! The food was amazing! Will definitely be back when I visit Chicago again!

Always a great time at La Crosta! Delicious pizza and appetizers and attentive, friendly staff. No better way to start the weekend with a refreshing aperol spritz. We were seated outside when it started raining but we were quickly moved inside and enjoyed a dessert at the bar. It’s a neighborhood gem!

Best pizza I've ever had! This lively, tastefully decorated restaurant offers a variety of pizzas that are sumptuous and savory. I opted for the caramelized pepperoni pizza that had a delicious thin crust with just the right amount of cheese and red sauce, and pepperoni that had the slightest kick of heat. Added to that was an attentive, responsive and friendly waitstaff, making this restaurant the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or just have a great bite to eat! I will definitely be back...

This place is my go to pizza place in Chicago! The food is always amazing, the service is outstanding! If you like a woodfired, Neapolitan, pizza, and great appetizers, this is the place!

Food and service were excellent. The size of the portions made it difficult to order. Pizza's are the right size for two, but the calzone seemed to be somewhat smaller. Minimal options for non-meat eaters. We enjoyed the experience.

Good wood fire pizza but to go, not dine in. Tables are so close you can join in on everyone’s conversation. Also causes servers to have little space to walk between tables. At one point, we had a servers butt on our table taking someone’s order. Also, owner seems a bit rushed and not friendly.

I had the chilli burrata pizza (no meat) and the caprese salad. The pizza crusty was appropriately crispy, there was some good heat from the chili and the burrata cheese high quality. The caprese salad was fresh and tasty. In addition to the great food, the service was great. The staff are attentive, but not overbearing. I will definitely be back!

They turned up all their lights, as in wanting people to leave, 30 mins before closing. I have never been in a restaurant where people were still eating all around us and had that happen, ever. Maybe if it was significantly past closing time but never a half hour before. No one wants to feel rushed when they’re trying to dine. Not exactly a spot I’d likely return to.

First time dinning in so we took our waiter (Lazo’s) recommendations from wine, appetizers to the pizza! His recommendations did not disappoint. We will be definitely going back.

This is my go-to pizza place! Love their food, and the service is always awesome! So far, been here 4 times with guests from out of town and everyone loved it! I’ve been here more than any other restaurant in Chicago!
