The atmosphere was so fun and the food was amazing. My only recommendation would be that the servers were a little more attentive in making sure our drinks were full and assisting in any requests

Great food, The Fliet Mignon Puebla was an amazing dish the steak was cooked perfectly and the Mole complimented everything. Amazing service from the staff and a lovely atmosphere.

The service was truly terrible. We were seated at 5:30 but it was 6:20 before anyone asked us if we wanted a drink let alone food. Once the food finally came it was fantastic but the wait was ridiculous. For large parties (there were 6 of us), they automatically add a 20% gratuity. I am happy to tip 20% for good service, but the service at this restaurant was not worth paying for.

The taco appetizer I had was amazing and I’d give more stars except when they brought the lobster Mac and cheese I took one bite and discovered not one, but MULTIPLE hairs in it!!! SO GROSS

Very unfortunate that I won't be going back to this place. This was my 4th or 5th visit. The first few times were great! and on point. But the last two time they were off. Last time they sat 4 of us in a small table, then this time 2 of us in an even smaller table crowed by other small tables, even though the place was empty when we got there. I wouldn't have mind it if I were a walk in, but not when I am making reservations and you are asking for my credit card to reserve my spot. If I reserve a spot it should be booth or at least a good table. I have been to well over 30 restaurants in SD and this is major disappointment for me. To make matter worst I ordered the stake and fries and got a bucket of garlic fries!!! If you love garlic fries, more power to you, But $200 dollars for T-bone stake that wasn't cooked well and garlic fries? FYI the drinks are $20. Sorry too many good restaurants to eat here again. I asked to speak to someone and was never attended too...

I heard about the restaurant through a friend and had to try for my birthday. Reservation was for 6:45 but we weren’t seated until just after 7. The booth side of our table was stained and covered with crumbs. I wanted to try the La Conde drink because of the crown and was a little disappointed that they changed the name and how it came. It was still an good drink though. We had looked at the menu online and we were highly disappointed that almost 80% of what we saw online wasn’t on the menu. I love a good Caesar salad and was excited that the menu said “table side presentation.” There was no presentation whatsoever. There was something off about the dressing and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. The service wasn’t that great- my dad had to take a pitcher of water from a service station to fill up his cup. All of our food came out cold. We would’ve said something about it but the waitress disappeared. They did a great spectacle to celebrate my birthday which was great. My dad ordered an espresso for dessert and he was told they were all out. I had a coupon for $50 off for my birthday which paid for my meal (I ordered the steak and fries and it came on a half grill which was cute) but they were having issues applying it to the tab. They finally got it working but they blamed the WiFi. When our waitress gave us the bill she wanted me to look it over but because it wasn’t printed out (the printer was out of paper- well that’s what we were told) it made it a little difficult to read. My only major complaint is that they automatically charge you a “large party fee/auto gratuity” if your bill is over $200. Our waitress definitely didn’t not meet our expectations to automatically get a 20% tip. While the service wasn’t THAT spectacular, I did try and give them the benefit of the doubt because they had three huge parties and there was a concert at Petco so they were probably busier than usual. While my mom refuses to come back, I’ll go for drinks again.

I came here to celebrate my bday and had a horrible experience. It was my bday I wanted a good presentation drink and when I asked for it the server asked me if I was an influencer I told him I was not. Also, I asked for my table side salad because they make it in front of you. The salad came already made . Little things like this made my birthday dinner not enjoyable. I drove from Phoenix Az to have a horrible service. Never again.

Food was not what I expected for the pricing. Is a good place for a drink and appetizers, not for a date. You can't enjoy a conversation with your date.

Save your money, there are plenty of steakhouses that are way better. If I’m paying that much for a steak I want great Service I want to feel like I’m being taken care of and here at La conde your not gonna get that. Music is loud, food is mid at best, the seating sucks they have you packed in there like sardines. Over all a waste of money!

Food was excellent, tasty, well prepared and worth the trip. The noise level made it impossible to have conversation. We were very surprised by a $65 “large party” charge when we were only three people. Turns out that was the gratuity because we spent more than $200. Beer selection was unimaginative. If you want tasty food, very loud music, and surprises in the bill, this is the place to go

My experience at La Conde was neither great nor bad. My Fiancé and I celebrated a belated Valentines date. For the RSVP you had to secure your rsvp with putting down your credit card . When we arrived at the restaurant there wasn’t many people (6 pm). We got seated next to the bar in a booth. We were greeted by the bar tender and made us the drinks right away. Then the server came by to order our food. Cocktails were really good. My fiancé ordered a filet mignon and the wagyu hamburger. I ordered a Lobster (lobster was flavorless) it came with a side of melted butter and pasta. It was good size portion. For Appetizers we ordered the Truffle Fries (really good , big portion ) and the guacamole ($16 for a small guacamole and with like 4 tostadas , 1 stale ) The selection of Music was good, Some reggaeton, EDM . Until the music stopped playing for about 5 minutes. Overall experience was moderate. Its honestly a bougee version of el Chingon. Due to the way the rsvp is set up, my expectations were very high of this restaurant. Downside, we got charge for a Large Party Fee of almost $60. When it was only my Fiancé and I.

My 2nd or third time visiting La Conde & I initially went because I loved the vibe, the food, the ambience & just everything about it. But this visit was a little different. I notice new renovations were done which is nice but we weren’t pleased w/ the seating. Upon arrival we were seated at a long weird shaped table that had other guest sitting on the other end & the table is placed in such a weird position which made me and my guest extremely uncomfortable. We asked to move & was granted our request so thank you for that. The vibe was different this time & music selection was OKAY but only catered to a specific group which I could tell was majority of the diners that night. I just wished it was a little more diverse. The food was 10/10 as always. Overall my experience was okay but I’m not sure if I’ll dine in again. I liked the old La Conde better.

It was Valentine’s Day in which I know is a busy time. Had reservations. And watch people with later reservations get seated before me and my date. Arrived on time 8:45 was seated 30 minutes later as soon as we sat down we ordered and didn’t receive not anything until slightly after a hour and that includes the water. Besides that food was amazing when we finally got the meal.

Horrible Experience, got charged 20% Service Charge for 2 People. We also waited an hour our cocktails (My Negroni was also water down), Unfriendly Staff, & the food came out dry and overcooked. Won’t be coming back here

The food was cold. We weren’t greeted for a long time. The guacamole that was 16 dollars was brown and came with 2 “tostadas” overall poor experience and worse food. Won’t go back and don’t recommend.

It’s a nice place especially for the price and the area! We had steak but it was sooooo undercooked. Still going to go back and try it again because for the price of the steaks, shrimp and lobster you can’t beat it and it’s very pretty inside! Very good customer service as well!

La conde is good but not great.. Our server was sadly rude in demeanor, the drinks were a fun presentation but overpriced, the food was good, the ambiance was okay the music was way too loud for the vibe that it was it was pretty empty and they were blasting music. Service wasn’t great, waited a long time just to get water from waitress. When asked for drinks waitress said they only had one type of wine and that was the most expensive wine. When I asked a different server, they said that they did have different types of wines. She either wanted us to buy the most expensive glass of wine, or didn’t want to going double check. Food was so so for the price. Music was too loud.I wouldn’t go back.

I came here on a Saturday to celebrate my niece's 22nd birthday. This restaurant is lively and fun! The specialty cocktails are over the top with their presentations. If you are celebrating a birthday, they bring you a birthday shot and do something really nice for you, definitely special. We ordered enchiladas, lobster mac & cheese, and lobster tacos. My only complaint was that I ordered taquitos for an appetizer for the table and it came out at the same time as our meals so we didn't eat them, I wish we didn't order them in the end. Anyways, the place has music going and is very lively. The location is in the gaslamp area so perfect for dinner and then going out somewhere nearby.

The food was lackluster at best. The Mac and cheese seems like it was from a box and placed in a fancy dish. The waygu ribeye lacked favor and was small. It was in comparison to a TJ style steak instead of an American style. The service was great! The drinks tasted good but was a little weak. Will I ever go back there? Probably not. .

I am so sorry to leave this review. I was there with my company at a company retreat and we chose your restaurant. Our Waiter was very nice but it was very slow service on anything. I don't think the company was set up to have a group of 11 of us.

Worst experience ever. Went to celebrate a birthday and Karol the hostess was rude when she came to tell us we needed to leave. They ruined it when it was time to sing happy birthday, they went to the wrong table. Just an overall a bad experience. Never coming here again and will never recommend this place!!
