La Casita offers a variety of antojitos for starting the meal, including soups, wings, prawn and fish ceviche, Texas nachos, jalapeno poppers and tostadas. The menu includes insalates and combinaciones, along with platos fuertes like the chimichanga, quesadillas, enchiladas and tacos. La Casita especialidades like the steak tampiquena, fajitas, chile relleno and blackened filete de cod are also favorites.     Informed waiter of an allergy when I placed the order. The ingredient was cut so small I didn’t notice until half way through the meal. Had to rush back to the hotel to get allergy medicine.

    Booked my daughter’s 25th birthday dinner here. Table of 12, 1 bill. Took nearly 20 minutes to get one round of drinks. Food was served immediately after. We paid for chips and salsa. Food was fairly good, that said they do have the best chimichangas I’ve had. They put our table downstairs because of the size, unfortunately we lost the ambiance because of that. All in all it was ok but overpriced.

    Great vibe, service, and food at the corner of Cordova and Abbott! Surprisingly spacious interior (and they have a basement level that's great for private parties). Most places won't let you make an online reservation for more than 6-8 people - or not without a deposit and requests for more information - but they allowed us to reserve seating for 12 for lunch on a Saturday, no problem with no deposit required and no questions asked. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was flavourful, with generous portions.

    Delicious food and drinks. We had a fun time. They were very accommodating with us arriving a little late because of traffic issues. Will keep this in mind for a future Mexican night.
