La Casa is run by a young family. They have a real passion for good food served in a cosy environment. Hope you’ll enjoy their newest creation! La Casa is a fun and vibrant Tapas & Mezze restaurant in a cosy, bright and airy surroundings. We are situated in a ‘forever growing’ Dalry neighbourhood. Our aim in La Casa is to bring Mediterranean flavours to the streets of Edinburgh. We use only the best ingredients from the top suppliers to make sure that every dish is as authentic to its origin as possible.

Very friendly host on arrival and team of staff all seemed happy in their workplace. Food was excellent and a few recommendations welcomed by the waiter.

Excellent evening. Staff very friendly and welcoming and food was really tasty. Great selection of tapas...we all really enjoyed and will definitely return.

Lovely Restuarant, the food, ambience and service was all great. The portions were quite generous and the menu suggests ordering 3-4 per person. We ordered 3 each and still ended up taking a wee doggy bag away with us. The staff were very pleasant and attentive without being overly so. Aesthetically, the restaurant had a Mediterranean vibe and was spotlessly clean. Would love to return to try more of the menu.

Fantastic place. My girlfriend and I went for lunch so it wasn’t very busy but the food we had was fantastic. I really liked the croquettes con queso and the tortilla. I’ll definitely have to try some of the other things on the menu as well just to see what is on offer. My girlfriend and I will be back.

My partner and I really enjoyed our Tapas meal. Portions were huge mirr tan enough fir 2 also the strawberry ice cream was superb, proper strawberry...Best I've had in a long time. I will definitely be back. Cannot fault it in any way. Highly recommend.

Got given a voucher as a present and absolutely loved it. Food and service was excellent and such a nice vibe in the restaurant. Look forward to visiting again!

Having visited Greece about 20 times, I know my way round a Greek menu - this is the real deal! The best Greek food I’ve eaten outside Greece and every bit as good as the best ones there! You must try this!

Pretty unwelcoming from the off. The older waiter looked like a smile would crack his face. The young guy and girl were friendly though. First impressions count for so much and they failed badly in this regard. It’s not that difficult and to fall down on such a basic element of hospitality is disappointing and an easily avoided “own goal”. At least the food was good. Which is, ultimately, what you are there for. Don’t think we will be back though.

Although i booked a table a couple of days before and requested a quieter table in a corner position in the restaurant we were put in the main part where it was quite noisy ! My partner has a hearing problem so it was difficult to hold a conversation without the other diners hearing !

This was our first visit and glad we went. All that tapas should be - variety of choice to be shared. However, be warned - portions are large. Also all the order was brought with in 5 minutes. Great at the start when everything was warm but sadly by the end of the meal our food was tepid. Not certain why all servings were brought almost at once. Next time I will order a few and then ask for more.

Positives: The restaurant looks great from outside and the food arriving very fast, within 5 minutes of ordering. Nice wine. Negatives: We ordered 10 tapas and everything was average at best. Prawns were luke-warm, calamari was undercooked and bland, etc. it was very disappointing.

Always made to feel welcome. Food very good though a little pricey but what’s not expensive at the moment. Have been before and would certainly recommend and go back even though for us it’s not an easy place to get to. The fact we would make the journey is testament to how much we enjoy the restaurant and service.
