La Bussola has been serving Kelowna since 1974 and is proud to boast the largest wine selection in the Okanagan today. La Bussola is owned and operated by the Coccaro family; Lauretta Coccaro the chef & owner operates the restaurant with her son Luigi Coccaro. The restaurant's menu changes seasonally using local and/or handmade ingredients wherever possible, and includes rotating classic dishes from the original menu from when La Bussola opened 43 years ago.

    La Bussola is my favourite restaurant in town. We go there for every special occasion or just because we want a delicious home cooked authentic Italian dinner. Chef Lauretta makes magic happen in her kitchen. The food is fabulous, you will think you are eating in Italy. Michael the somalier will help you choose the perfect wine for you. The servers are so friendly and fast and take care of your every need. Best restaurant in Kelowna.

    We haven’t been here in a long time. I recall it was a great experience in the past. Service was good , ambience was good . The food however was not very filling. I had the spaghetti and bacon. And we shared the bruschetta. We go out plenty to know what’s a reasonable portion and what seems too small. Out of all the restaurants we frequent I never leave hungry. Here I was hungry after leaving. Nice restaurant but this was my last experience.

    LaBussola has been our go to restaurant for all special occasions since the 1980s ! Everything is and always has been the very best in food, drink and atmosphere!! The owners and staff have always treated you special and their restaurant will always be a part of Kelowna’s history .

    From the time we entered the front door to the time we left. We were treated with such excellent service. We found parking at the back of the restaurant. The food was delicious , great ambiance. We were not rushed. Would definitely come back again.
