The restaurant is beautiful but the food was awful. You needed a steak knife to cut through the puff pastry on the escargot. The Beef bourguignon was bland & the skirt steak was overcooked. Really did not enjoy the experience & would not recommend.

Great lunch experience! Travis was very attentive. The French onion soup and deviled eggs were great apps and the burger and trout were outstanding!

I was so excited to bring my mom here for her Birthday but was so disappointed with the service there. The food was amazing. We had a horrible server that should not really be working in hospitality at all. I would not go back again.

"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."

Food mediocre, hangar steak good, duck confit bland, burger good, filet disappointing. Service reasonable. Wouldn’t go back

The ambience was spectacular. I came here for my anniversary dinner and everyone was so nice!! We got a complimentary dessert wishing my partner and I a happy anniversary. The food was SO SO GOOD!! We both ordered the burger and I swear it was one of, if not the best burger I’ve ever had!! PLEASE go here, it was such a special night for us. Thank you La Belle Helene for one of the best dinner of my life!

The atmosphere here is so amazing. It’s a pretty quiet restaurant with a great aesthetic. The service is top tier. I’ve gone here for brunch and dinner. I will say that I enjoyed dinner more than brunch. The drinks are very good. I will definitely continue to come back here.

Three of us did brunch on Saturday - it was delicious - had what the waiter recommended -- chicken crepe, spinach crepe, and bacon crepe - all very good and very big - so we shared!!! Definitely a great place for brunch as the restaurant was full by the time we left our 11 am reservations......There were 3-4 showers going on in the restaurant but service was still impeccable and at least 3 people stopped by to ask us how our meal was!!! Will return in future for lunch!

Highly recommend! Our service from Edwin was fantastic. Food was perfect and you can’t beat the ambiance. The cocktail menu is creative and fresh. Best French restaurant in Charlotte!
