Inside the modern ambiance, these are the threads of the traditional Greek taverna woven with the stylish island chic of Mykonos.
At Kyma our menu guides you to the sun-drenched islands of Greece, as we embrace the rich character of its traditional dishes. We adhere to a strict moral code using the highest quality extra virgin olive oil from the Peloponnese and fresh fish is flown in daily from the Mediterranean.
On Fridays & Saturdays our DJ starts at 8 PM. During our dinner parties the music does increase in volume and becomes more upbeat as the night progresses. Please note: you must be 21 years of age to enter during our DJ hours.

It was my birthday and went to celebrate it there. But, when the server gave us birthday cake and then she left us. But, on other tables all servers were cheering and lighting the candles. I don’t know why they kept this difference for us.

Wasn’t told in advance that the music’s so loud that you can’t even hear across your table. Bathroom full of cheesy influencer wannabees taking pictures of themselves — couldn’t even use the bathroom. Many of the girls clearly looked underage. Bridge and tunnel. If you want to charge those prices for food, need to actually be able to enjoy it. Go to Avra, Milo’s, Elenis, any of the other good places that are more classy.

Since our office has moved to Hudson Yards this is now my go to place for meals. The food is consistently excellent. Choice for everyone. Healthy delicious Mediterranean food. The service is always impeccable. Nice ambiance and the price is right. I really love this place.

What a nice find! We had a business meeting here, it was tucked away just an eight minute walk from the Javits convention center. The food was really good, we especially enjoyed the fried zucchini and eggplants with Taziki sauce and one of my colleagues had the chicken and waffles which she said was very good, and another had the salmon, also very good. I had the steak which was just a little under seasoned in my opinion, but wonderfully cooked. It was orthodox Easter, so got a little busy during the lunch hour, and then the noise level went up which made it difficult to talk, but the food was still wonderful. The service became a little slower as it got busier, understandably. But it got so slow that we had to cancel our fruit that we ordered with our meals so we could make another meeting. Overall, I would recommend as a spot for lunch!

Lovely vibe in Hudson Yards. Food was delicious and wait staff was very gracious to accommodate a last minute guest. We will be back!

My first time and left impressed. Very fresh and clean good grilled fish served well. Haris our server was excellent, knowledgeable and pointed us to a great Greek white wine. Nice convenient spot for after work dinner.

The food, ambience and service was great! We went on a Saturday night when they have live music and a DJ. If you want a more chill dining experience I would suggest that you go before 8 pm on the weekend. It turned into a little party, but we had a blast! Will definitely return.

I really enjoyed the crab cakes & Lobster pasta! The grilled shrimp skewers were a little fishy & mushy but the sauce was good. The filet mignon on the kabob is great & the porterhouse steak!

Excellent food and service. Our only disappointment was being seated so close to other tables that we couldn’t help but hear their conversations. Its hard to enjoy the “ambiance” that way. If it were crowded, I’d have understood, but it was not.

Food was both good and bad—dips were delicious, but the seafood with orzo was not good. Shrimp was dry, shellfish was small, and the orzo was flavorless. Considering the prices, the food should have been better.

Had a lovely time at Kyma. Would definitely go back. Our server was very sweet and patient. We had to wait for 1 guests to arrive and she didn’t rush us at all.

The food was amazing !! Plus, the hospitality of all of the staff was great. The location is easy to access so my friend who visited NYC from another country had gotten to the restaurant easily by herself. It was wide enough for a big party as well and they have weekend basis entertainment parties too. Kyma restaurant is great for many various parties to visit.

The general manager, Steve Dimakis, remembered us from our previous visit, which was a pleasant surprise in bustling NYC. Our reservation was for 6:30 pm, and upon arrival, the energy in the room was infectious. We were promptly greeted, and Steve graciously gifted us a bottle of Prosecco, setting a perfect tone for the evening. Our waiter, who was charming and attentive, along with Steve, ensured our experience was impeccable. At 8:30 pm, we were treated to a captivating musical performance featuring an electric violinist and a DJ, adding a delightful touch to the ambiance. The food surpassed our expectations, with every dish being a culinary delight. From appetizers to desserts, each bite was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The price point was reasonable, especially considering the prime location in the Hudson Yards neighborhood. As we left around 9:15 pm, the restaurant was buzzing with younger crowds ready to enjoy both food and festivities. It's clear that this place is a hotspot for nightlife in the area. A special thanks to Steve Dimakis for his exceptional hospitality. With such a memorable experience, we'll definitely be returning. If you're seeking a dining experience that goes above and beyond, look no further than this gem in Hudson Yards.

Instagram worthy restaurant with great food and friendly, helpful staff. We had a 6:30 reservation and it was relatively calm but definitely headed towards a more trendy atmosphere when we were leaving.

We were there on Friday night. The ambiance is very pretty and inviting, but the noise level overwhelming. Definitely not a place for an older customer. The food was very good and so was the service. But the noise….. 😱

We enjoyed a pre-theater meal of appetizers and drinks, and it was fantastic. There are lots of places to get great Greek food in the city, but not so much great Greek dining. This was definitely the latter. The service was excellent, and the place is beautiful. The sesame crusted feta was both sweet and savory and very unexpected. Delicious. The Kyma chips were light (ish) and crispy and were complemented well by the creamy tzatziki. We loved the lemon potatoes, which went well with the dolmades. My wife said the soutzoukakia (meatballs) were wonderful. As a vegetarian, I was delighted by the number of choices I had. Happily, we only ate a small fraction of the menu, so there's plenty more to try on our next visit. Spanakorizo, I'm looking at you.

Kyma-Hudson Yards is a must visit restaurant. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed their food and were provided with great service!!! We definitely recommend for everyone to visit and dine at Kyma!!!

I recently enjoyed lunch at Kyma, a Greek restaurant offering a weekday lunch menu for just $30, including an appetizer and main course. I added the grilled octopus appetizer for an extra $8, which was a great deal given the generous portion size. The food was delicious, with perfectly cooked dishes bursting with authentic Greek flavors. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were attentive. Delicious. Great appys, hummus, grilled octopus, fried zucchini chips. Simple grilled lamb chops were really good. Too full to try dessert but from the table next to us they looked great and we were given the thumbs up. Lots more on the menu to try, I will be back!
