Inside the modern ambiance, these are the threads of the traditional Greek taverna woven with the stylish island chic of Mykonos.
At Kyma our menu guides you to the sun-drenched islands of Greece, as we embrace the rich character of its traditional dishes. We adhere to a strict moral code using the highest quality extra virgin olive oil from the Peloponnese and fresh fish is flown in daily from the Mediterranean.
On Fridays & Saturdays our DJ starts at 8 PM. During our dinner parties the music does increase in volume and becomes more upbeat as the night progresses. Please note: you must be 21 years of age to enter during our DJ hours.

We had a 6:30 pm Sunday May 26 reservation. Restaurant relatively empty at that time with just a few tables occupied. Nice bar, beautiful dining area, background music at just the right level. Courteous and very, very attentive service. We ordered the greek salad, meatball appetizer, and our entrees were the tiger prawns and the lamb chops. Pita bread was also provided for the table. Greek salad and dressing was ok; have had better. Vegetables were cut extra chunky and serving was large enough for 2. The meatballs were very good. The tiger prawns were outstanding; huge, nicely seasoned, grilled on a bed of spinach, kale. Tasted like mini-lobsters. The lamb chops were very good, beautifully seasoned. The problem was the serving was only 3 single bone chops! And they were very, very small. In my view overpriced for what you get. They were served with nicely seasoned fries. The service was extremely attentive: almost to the point of hovering. We had to pause our conversation a few times. Overall, beautiful setting, nice ambiance, attentive service, but overpriced, even for New York.

The food and service were excellent, it was my first time at the Hudson Yards location and it was the same wonderful experience.

It was my birthday and went to celebrate it there. But, when the server gave us birthday cake and then she left us. But, on other tables all servers were cheering and lighting the candles. I don’t know why they kept this difference for us.

Wasn’t told in advance that the music’s so loud that you can’t even hear across your table. Bathroom full of cheesy influencer wannabees taking pictures of themselves — couldn’t even use the bathroom. Many of the girls clearly looked underage. Bridge and tunnel. If you want to charge those prices for food, need to actually be able to enjoy it. Go to Avra, Milo’s, Elenis, any of the other good places that are more classy.

Our first time at this Kyma location, and we can't wait to go back. Food and service were both superb!

Since our office has moved to Hudson Yards this is now my go to place for meals. The food is consistently excellent. Choice for everyone. Healthy delicious Mediterranean food. The service is always impeccable. Nice ambiance and the price is right. I really love this place.

What a nice find! We had a business meeting here, it was tucked away just an eight minute walk from the Javits convention center. The food was really good, we especially enjoyed the fried zucchini and eggplants with Taziki sauce and one of my colleagues had the chicken and waffles which she said was very good, and another had the salmon, also very good. I had the steak which was just a little under seasoned in my opinion, but wonderfully cooked. It was orthodox Easter, so got a little busy during the lunch hour, and then the noise level went up which made it difficult to talk, but the food was still wonderful. The service became a little slower as it got busier, understandably. But it got so slow that we had to cancel our fruit that we ordered with our meals so we could make another meeting. Overall, I would recommend as a spot for lunch!
