Konak Turkish Kitchen would like to introduce you to our regional cuisine and hospitality. Serving a sharing menu of a la carte (small, medium or large sharing plates) or banquet dishes. Specialising in charcoal meats/seafood and a large variety of vegetable and grain dishes, Konak Turkish Kitchen for a casual weeknight meal, after work drinks and snacking, special occasion dining and private or corporate functions. Have visited this restaurant a few times now and will always keep coming back. Food is fresh and delicious, service is friendly and attentive, restaurant is clean with Turkish styling. Recently celebrated my partners birthday and it was just as great as previous visits. Highly recommend!

Ambient atmosphere, delicious food - the tastiest I’ve eaten and we ordered more for take away. Definitely will be back when in the area. The chef is a humble friendly man open to explaining how his kitchen operates which was really nice. Thankyou for making our Christmas dinner special

I have celebrated my birthday here twice and have not been disappointed either time. The owners and staff are welcoming and efficient. No long waits for your order. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, the seating is comfortable and the decore upstairs has a fresh spring-summer vibe, and very interesting light fittings. Konak takes Turkish cuisine to the next level with combinations of herbs, spices and sprinklings of pomegranate that surprise your taste buds. I will be back.

I love this restaurant. I am guaranteed a beautiful meal, with lovely wait staff. Always an enjoyable night out because I can actually hear what my friends/family are saying. We have good conversations and get to enjoy feeling connected over a beautiful meal.

The food was excellent. We are doing the rounds of Turkish restaurants getting acquainted with the cuisine before our trip there next month. Konak is the most delicious by far in our search. Also really good value. We had left it to later because the front of the shop looks like a Take Away and we didn't have very high hopes. NOT SO! Out back there is a delightful restaurant area. It's a covered breezeway. We loved everything about Konak

Loved the food and service. Had only the vegetarian dishes so can’t comment on meat options. Friday nights busy and a few loud people took shine of the experience ( sadly many Australians seem oblivious to other’s enjoyment) and hard surfaces, close tables don’t help). We should heed the Europeans.

We visit Konak regularly and the food and staff are always great. We have taken many people there on occasions and they have all said they have been impressed. My daughter’s favourites are the Manti, Lahmacun and iced apple tea, but everything we have tried has been beautiful. Konak is definitely a favourite place for us.

I booked this restaurant for my Sister’s birthday dinner. It was 8 of us in total. The food was good but the service was very disappointing, I think they were extremely understaffed. When I finally got the attention of the waitress, she forgot my drink and I had to ask again. Lucky the rest of us had brought BYO. We had to stack our plates and ask them to take them and food took forever to come out. Our reservation was 7pm and we left just after 11pm as that’s how long we waited. I give it overall 3 stars

The Adana kebab was really good, prawn casserole was nice and the halloumi was slightly on the sweeter side for us. I would give the beef brisket a pass but other than that the Alinazik kebab was also nice. A good Turkish restaurant but I found the price (conpared to the quantity) slightly on the higher side 😊We spent roughly around 175 AUD for the three of us.

Only blemish was seating under a speaker pumping out constant music. Why do restaurants and cafes see need to pump background music? Surely people come to converse with each other whilst enjoying a meal. Many venues are also adding to their costs, paying a license fee for the unnecessary environment-changing sound.

Breakfast buffet is a good value and delicious. Service was slow and we had to wait for a while until the food arrived on our table. The restaurant was full at that time and there were not enough staff to serve the customer or prepared for the food.

This is the second time we have been to Konak and it was just as wonderful. the first time i went just my husband and i, this time i had a large group of 13. The food was quick and plentiful and extremely delicious. They also accommodated us for having our own wine and cake . I would highly recommend the lamb shish. i normally don't like lamb very much but their is the best i've tasted. so jucy and flavourful and doesn't leave a fatty taste in your mouth like lamb sometimes can. All the staff were wonderful too. we really had such a great night. My only request would be to bring back the balloon bread - it was amazing last time.

Dips were amazing so was the rice. Lamb shish could have been better, it had quite a few chewy pieces and the meat wasn't as tender as I would prefer. Overall good experience. Recommend.
