KONA Steak & Seafood was voted the "Best New Restaurant" winner on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula for 2023. Located in the popular Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey, just minutes from Carmel, Pacific Grove, & all Peninsula cities.
A fabulous menu! Enjoy fresh seafood, lobster, Hawaiian loco moco, fresh ahi tuna, a great bacon cheeseburger, bone-in rib eye, miso-glazed seabass, filet mignon, macadamia nut crusted halibut, entree salads, cioppino, seafood pasta, Maui onion soup, coconut curry soup, and a large host of enticing appetizers. Enjoy KONA's generous portions, good value, & free abundant parking! The house baked desserts are worth a trip on their own..... incredible!! The gorgeous "ZenDen Bar" features full bar & "Tiki Bar" style concoctions curated with house made ingredients, and nightly Happy Hour from 3:00-9:00pm. Overall the entire experience was amazing- The service over the top -great. The food was really rich and very filling. My most favorite part of the meal was the dessert. We chose the lava cake and the share shaved ice- the presentation of both - super fun and the perfect way to celebrate a birthday. It was a little expensive compared to the other restaurants at Del Monte.

Second time dining there and experienced a 10 rating in all areas food, service, and value. Will return and spread the word to all my friends.

I ate alone at an off time (4 pm) so it was empty save for 4 other people — both couples left shortly after I arrived. Around 5 pm people started to arrive. Even though the room was almost empty a couple was seated right next to me 🙄. The food was tasty and nicely presented. The waiter tried his best (unsuccessfully) to get me to add to my meal 😉

We enjoyed the ambience immediately upon entering. The waitress was very friendly and we felt welcomed. The drinks were delicious. The food was very good. We would definitely come back!

Dont remember our severs name but she was an absolute delight. Made our friend birthday experience nice even with just vanilla ice cream. Food was great and she was always checking in.

Such a fun place to go with friends or any large group. Food and service all excellent! Fun cocktail drinks too! We'll definitely be back again.

Came here for our anniversary dinner with the Kids! We wanted something family friendly but still nice ambiance, we ordered the cioppino, New York steak, Bbq Pork special , chicken salad . Everything was good , but the cioppino stood out the most ! We ended the night with chocolate lava cake . It was a good evening.
