Food, drinks and service were great, however, adults need to understand what a babysitter is for. Way too many crying 1 and 2 year olds.

Steak night was a disaster. “Steak” looked like something from Dollar Tree. Server didn’t seem to know what was included and just generally was sub par.

The manager, despite being on crutches, was very attentive. The waitstaff was delightful and the food was delicious!

Came here on valentines and was surprised it wasn’t that packed. We told the host we had reservations she seemed annoyed by it since nobody was waiting lol asked us where we wanted to sit then from there everything felt good. Upset was the menu I wanted to try was steak night and it advertises as “Sun-Thurs” but I guess since it was valentines they said that wasn’t on the menu that night which was eh. It was my boyfriend’s and I’s first time trying it there we liked it but some things could have been different my boyfriend asked for 3 different beers because they kept saying the kegs were out. The plates we got were really delicious.

For being Valentine's Day, service was quick and simple. We experienced no issues, and our waiter checked in on us frequently.

Was ok but not for the price . They pick up the prices with a new menu , I was shock I look at the menu before getting there and it was completely different was not happy about it . Will not be comeback

Kona Grill Northstar was awesome, as always. Food was delicious, service was outstanding, and the ambience was nice. We can always count on good food here, especially the Prime Rib and the delicious Tuna Tartar.

One of the servers came out of a bathroom stall and walked right out the door. Even if she just went in to adjust her clothes…. You always wash your hands. Especially if a customer is in the bathroom too. Just gross behavior. Also, the food is way overpriced. My poke bowl was tiny. I pay half that at poke places.

When we arrived host let us know it was going to be a 45 minute wait. I asked to speak to the manager because we had a reservation and that we drove from another part of town to come for restaurant week which it was the last day, and he got us a table. Because of the manager we had a great experience.

We were there for Restaurant Week and had to order all three courses at once. My salad came out but not my daughter's Picasso Roll. Before I could take a bite of my salad, both entrees were delivered. As the entrees were hot and the starters not, we both eat our entrees. The Picasso Roll (starter?) did not arrive until we had finished our entrees.

We've been to Kona many times, and usually very happy, but this was the WORST experience we have ever had at any San Antonio area restaurant: My prime-rib and sides were cold, my drink was brought after my meal was finished (ordered before my meal), the prime rib was overly fatty, and we had to wait a very long time for the waiter to return to check on us (we were done by then). To top things off, the check was brought and payment received like we were at a Denny's! We realize Christmas may cause us to have less experienced employees, but this was an awful experience! But for it was Christmas, we would not have left a tip.

Waiter was not attentive to the table and did not pay attention to drinks for refills. He would bring the wrong drinks back or refill with different drinks on top of the original drink. Food was missing ingredients according to menu. Food was pricey for what it was and the amount of food served.

Steak was good but cold , sea bass didn’t taste all that great, very very VERY overpriced for what we got . Sever was nice but disappeared after we got the food we had to get up and find him to pay our overpriced bill lol but maybe it just wasn’t for us

Right out the gate the host was rude. Didn’t respond when spoken to. Scoffed when asked for a booth. I was with my daughter +1. 3 total. We shared a lemon shrimp pasta which was served room temp, cold sirloin meatballs, a dirty glass for my dates wine. I asked for room temp sake and it was served piping hot . $170 tab for 2 + a child was def not worth it.

The service was awesome! The server was very pleasant, helpful, and friendly. She always took the time to explain the menus and answer questions. The food was excellent, and the pricing was competitive as expected. Our reservation was met on time, and the staff was very friendly and pleasant. The establishment was very clean, and the ambiance was great. There were 6 of us, and everyone was very pleased with the meals and service. We would recommend the Kona Grill to anyone!
