We had high hopes for Kona, but unfortunately we will not be returning. Waitress forgot what drinks we wanted and food came out barely warm. We were highly disappointed. No one ever came back to refill drinks.

Had an amazing time dining at Kona. Our server, Mikki, was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, lively and funny. Her knowledge of the menu was astonishing and she helped guide me to the Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon - which was DELICIOUS. (I will definitely be back to try some of her other recommendations.) Shelby the bartender makes some killer drinks and the Emily, the manager on duty made sure to check on us a few times to make sure everything was going well. Will definitely be coming back.

We ordered the jalapeño yellow tail sashimi, tuna sashimi and French dip. Very good. Great server. But happy hour drinks were pretty skimpy and expensive.

First time at Kona Grill. The restaurant wasn’t busy so we were seated immediately. Our server Hong was very attentive and friendly. Our food was tasty and I enjoyed the wine that Hong recommended. Don’t skip the chocolate lava cake! Thanks for your hospitality. Looking forward to another meal soon.

We ordered the Kona Loco. It was so salty, we could hardly eat it. And it was $25! Nothing like you get on the big island of Hawaii! NEVER order this!

Food was grossly overpriced for what we received, both in terms of portion size and quality. I couldn’t believe how little food was on our plates. We could have went to a much more upscale restaurant and we would have paid less. I had the sea bass and my wife had the stir fry. We had an early dinner and it was incredibly loud for that time (5:30).

We are never disappointed when we eat here. The food portions are more than generous, the waitresses are very good at describing the way the meals are prepared and the deserts are large enough to share and are "over the top" delicious!

Not a big problem but your WiFi kept going in and out but my mom ordered a salad that normally has a full salmon in it and she only got a little piece.

Poor timing of delivering the appetizer and entree at the same time. When I finished eating my appetizer, the entree was cold. My entree was also not as cooked as requested. I asked for my meat to be medium well and it was clearly way under. I’d try another location, but wouldn’t return to this specific Kona Grill.

Such a disappointment! We took another couple out for dinner, and were embarrassed by the entire experience. A Manhattan could not be made by the bartender, because they had NO VERMOUTH! The server seems confused about the menu, and unfortunately his service was not good. The prime rib (ordered medium rare) came out medium well at best. We asked for a quiet section, and that became the family with children area. We left earlier than planned because conversation was difficult over the noise. We've been to Kona Grill several times before, but NEVER AGAIN!

Food wasn't on par as on past experiences. Our waitress and the on duty manager made it right but the long wait to reorder wasn't worth it so more free bread to fill us up. I'd expect the kitchen to quality check the food better considering the amount of money Kona charges.

Very hospitable spot, lots of atmosphere, cozy and upscale. Service was superb, food and drinks were very good. Micki our server was top notch. All in all, we really enjoyed it and will definitely return.

Service was average. Tried to seat us "on the patio". When asked to be seated inside, our party of 4 was seated at a 6 person table.

As usual I was greeted well. This time there was a staff person at the front of the restaurant offering a sample of a menu item. My current diet would not allow me to partake, yet I did appreciate the gesture. I was led to a requested high top table on the enclosed patio. The hostess was gracious in helping me find a spot to choose. She also made certain my joining party found me. Grace was our server. She was fabulous in making certain we felt as though we had all of her attention. So, there was flawless service, even in the manner of keeping the tabletop cleared of used plates and utensils as needed. Also, in how their was supportive assistance in getting ordered menu items to our table in a timely manner. When I suggested meeting at Kona Grill - Minnetonka my friend was happy about the choice. He said he had visited the restaurant often as his wife enjoyed eating there when shopping at the mall. Thank you for another greatly appreciated time. Please keep working as hard and as well as you do to make this restaurant a fan favorite.

The food was fine. I'm not sure where all the 5 star reviews come from. This was a solid 3 for me and there's nothing wrong with that. There are iPads on every table for paying the bill, so that definitely knocks down a star rating!

Got sat out on the patio on cold metal chairs, next to a door that would blow in cold air every time someone came in. My husband asked for a NA beer and was brought a sparkling water which we sent back and then later had to ask for the $8 water to be taken off our bill. Ordered 3 apps and they came out at different times. Not impressed.

This was our first time dining at Kona Grill. We were very disappointed in the food quality. We will not return. I will say our server Hong was very professional and gave us great service.
