Located in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, Komodo Dallas features an ultra-contemporary exterior facade that gives way to an inviting indoor-outdoor flow. The restaurant takes visual cues from its homebase, including Komodo’s signature illuminated “bamboo” cutout columns and duck display windows. From there, pops of saturated color are added, such as with the lounge’s eye-catching wallpaper and a dramatic fabric-draped corridor. Komodo Dallas spans two stories and seats up to 274 diners across tabletop, booth and bar seats.

Komodo Dallas’ menu offers delicious takes on Southeast Asian dishes, all of which have been developed and interpreted with a global approach. The result is a unique dining experience, ranging from regularly rotating specials to house favorites such as Salmon Tacos, Miso Chilean Seabass Skewers, Peking Duck, and Daring Plant Based Kung Pao Chicken. A full sushi bar is also included, while bespoke custom cocktails deliver lively and exclusive beverage options.

The restaurant was nice. First time going, didn’t know what to expect. When my husband and I got there, the music was extremely loud. It was to the point I was yelling at my husband so he could hear me. But nevertheless. We had reservations. We received notice that our table was ready, however, we still had to wait about 6 to 7 minutes. Finally was seated and was excited about the buffet. Able to eat from the buffet until the main entree came. The price was surprisingly low for everything. Due to it being busy, our waiter was a little slow, but not to the extreme. We went on a Sunday. Next time we’ll go on a different day.

Just a little too loud for my liking. And perhaps I should have not did a Sunday since I’m a big eater.. Too expensive for what I actually ate.

Our server forgot to put in our drink orders didn’t receive them until the end of our meal. The server was not attentive at all, overall experience bad.

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! The food, the service, the ambiance. All around amazing experience. We did not have a single time in the menu we didn’t like

Wow! Sensory overload the second you walk in. Dance club music set on loud. And gets louder if your sat under a speaker. Food was very good on the Sunday buffet featuring some sushi and King Crab legs. 1 entree is included. I had the waygu burger and wife had a tiny tiny Salmon portion. Burger and fries were fantastic and Salmon….wish there was more. Very good service throughout and Alexis the server was awesome. I’m 64 and was the oldest in the place by a long shot!

I went for brunch what waste! “All you can eat” but 2 types of sushi in the bar. Not worth the $65. You can also order entre but they won’t let you take your leftover’s home. Drinks trash……. Servers are good. Might as well go to a Deep sushi and order 6 different rolls for $65 take the rest home with no issues.

I liked the idea of buffet brunch with live music or live DJ on Sundays; however, the food quality did not meet the expectation. The quality of crab legs, crab claws, shrimps was bad.
