Koisan Sushi is a Japanese restaurant that has offered creative, fresh, and authentic Japanese cuisine at the heart of orange for 40 years. Illuminated by Japanese style lanterns and the walls adorned with specialized craftsman woodwork, Koisan is a time machine to ancient Japan.
Koisan's dining experience can be approached one of two ways. Diners can request the dining room where the kitchen menus such as the Seafood Tokyo Udon Pasta, or the or Miso Black Cod Entrees are available; or request the sushi bar to order sushi and sashimi such as Toro (Bluefin Tuna Belly) or Tai (Sea Bream) a la carte with the help of our skilled chef Ken. The sushi bar is a coveted place for many regular customers, where beginners and pros are welcome alike. Koisan also offers a large selection of alcoholic beverages, specializing in Japanese Beer and Imported Sake - offered during Orange's best Happy Hour. Now offering $45 Omakase!

Reservation on a Thursday was at 7pm. Didn’t get sat until 745. Or water and one beer didn’t come out until 810. Dinner didn’t come until after 9. 2 rolls were missing and didn’t arrive for another 30 min. There were only 20 people in the restaurant. Not sure where the break down was. Visited this restaurant on Valentine’s Day with my open table reservation. We waited 20 minutes to be seated. It seems to be that all the take out orders took precedence over customers already seated waiting for drinks and food. I looked across to another table and could tell they had been waiting quite sometime for a server to return to their table. We had plans after dinner so this out us in a rush situation. We have been going to the same Sushi restaurant for 20+ years and it was a time for a change from the dreary and dogma of old-style sushi cuisine. We found what we were looking for: Marissa was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and orderly, and the food was most excellent. Wow, amazing food with great customer service even on a busy day. The sashimi was so smooth and fatty and the rolls were just delicious. They have a wide assortment of beverages to wash everything down as well. 10/10 I would bring friends and family here next time.Cet avis est-il utile ?
