Welcome to Knots Landing: the New Home of New England Pizza Chatham!

The Malitas family are pleased to announce they've opened a new restaurant. Brother and Sister Philip and Sophia Malitas had the desire to own a restaurant for over 30 years. They opened New England Pizza in 1987 and have been serving the town of Chatham ever since.

With a love for the community and when the opportunity arose they purchased as well as totally renovated what is now known as Knots Landing Bar & Grill located at 1077 Main Street in Chatham. The dream of owning an upscale restaurant that is casual and family friendly has come true!

Terrible service. Our food didn’t arrive until 10 minutes after our guests had been served. I think they are understaffed. Have inexperienced wait staff.

This review only applies to the "overall" and "service" categories, as we never got past the hostess station. We reserved for 6:30, arrived on time and were treated dismissively. The greeter thought we were there for take-out (even when we told her we had a reservation) and then couldn't figure out on what side of the restaurant we wanted to be seated. She did ask one of the waitstaff who snapped that her Open Table sheet showed "nothing" and brushed past us. I understand that it's possible that a 6:30 reservation made at 6:00 might not have made it on her "sheet" within a half-hour, but that's no excuse for the way we were treated. Never again.

This was our first visit and it will definitely NOT be our last visit! The warm and friendly atmosphere at this restaurant makes you feel like family and the food was fantastic! Thank you Sophia and Philip for making us feel so welcome!

Everyone’s meals were wonderful Our server Lasmine(? Spelling ) was great. Nice to find an affordable restaurant with quality food and plenty of parking

The food was great overall. I did ask of ricotta on my pizza and that was the topping I was most looking forward to and they gave me mozzarella instead. I wasn't sure if it was the waitress's fault because she did seem confused when I said ricotta but I told her it was cheese. It could have been the kitchens mistake too. I think it could have been the language barrier too. They did not offer to remake it so I asked it they could not charge me for the ricotta, but they still did. A family member ordered bbq wings and they brought over a bbq pizza. They did get some wings out to the table but we were surprised they didn't just leave the pizza for the table as a courtesy or take the wings off they bill. Neither was offered. It did seem like the staff was doing their best to help each other but just a few too many little bumps for our first experience. The ambiance was nice, however we had the unfortunate experience of being there at the same time as a VERY LOUD family with kids that were running wild and banging bathroom doors etc. (we were sat nearby that area) so that made it a little chaotic.

This is not the New England Pizza of old .Had a pizza it was like bread with sauce and cheese . I cannot recomend this establishment after eating there twice .

Great meal! We had the spanakopita for an app, and the short ribs and baked cod for the main course…outstanding! One of the best restaurants in Chatham!
