Knife & Spoon is the signature steak and seafood restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes led by Chef Tyler Kineman. The restaurant was awarded a coveted MICHELIN Star in the 2022 & 2023 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Florida.

Resort Casual: Please refrain from wearing athletic apparel and swim attire or cover ups in the main dining room.

Corkage policy: Guests are invited to bring in up to two 750ml bottles with a $50 corkage fee per bottle. The wines cannot be featured on our wine list.

Knife & Spoon is conceived by Chef John Tesar who was called "the single most talented cook I ever worked with" by Anthony Bourdain. Tesar came up as a chef in New York City at 13 Barrow St, Vine, and the Supper Club. He then went on to open two restaurants in Dallas that have been named among the best in the country by Bon Appetit, Eater and Esquire. He has garnered praise from Food and Wine, and The New York Times and is a two-time contestant on Bravo's "Top Chef."

I thought the decor was ordinary. No table cloth. It was very noisy. Very difficult to have a conversation. We ordered Cesar salad without Anchovies and all three of us got with Anchovies. They did not take back we took out ourselves. I ordered steak medium and my friend ordered well done. They served wrong . The waiter said sorry but did not offer to make it new. we end up eating but that is not the service I expected...

For a 1 Michelin star restaurant my husband and I were appalled at the number of small children/ toddlers making way too much noise and really ruining dinner! Food and service was fabulous, but we won’t go back only because of all the kids not being controlled by their parents.

Wow! This is the first word that comes to mind when I think of my recent experience at Knife & Spoon! I have NEVER had a Filet Mignon that was so tender and cooked to perfection! My husband had the Grouper fish, and it was outstanding, also! The breads ... out of this world! I have to be gluten free, and the GF rolls they served me were out of this world! One of the waitstaff even brought me the box to show me where I could order them! After the "main event," the dessert options were presented! Oh, my word! We opted out, (too full) ... but one of our waitresses asked us to "wait a minute" before we left the restaurant. Then, out she comes with this INCREDIBLE and beautiful chocolate dessert! Nothing like I've ever seen! And because it was not GF, she brought a 2nd dessert that was!! Both were OUTSTANDING! We will DEFINITELY GO BACK HERE AGAIN and take family with us! An experience we will never forget!

Service exceptional. Lovely presentation on all food items. Dining area became quite loud as 6:30p-7p hour arrived.

The service help and the front of the house staff are amazing. We got the Green Menu and the courses got slow a couple of times but nothing outrageous. But, I had to 4 stars on value because I'd say it's about 10 to 15% high. But, it's Disney prices

Knife and Spoon is an expensive fine dining steak house that is awkwardly casual in it's atmosphere and ambience including the lack of tablecloths, colored ceramic plates, cheap cutlery and terrible glass ware which is substandard and detracts from the dining experience. We found the dry aged aged steaks generous in portion but very gamy. The Filet Mingon was a delicious option without being gamy. The Wedge salad is delicious as is the fresh bread. The sides are limited and too complicated; the fish options are also complicated (too many sauces and flavors); the pasta selection is creative and unorthodox (having an option of traditional pasta would be nice). The music selection is inappropriate for the venue, abrasively loud and off putting. It is difficult to have a meaningful conversation with music blasting in the restaurant. With a few changes this could be a great restaurant but at the prices they charge, changes are necessary.

There’s a reason why Highball & Harvest rarely has a reservation available and this place is wide open. I took my wife for her birthday and the food was just okay, the service wasn’t terrible but definitely slow. The servers were super nice I’ll add too. We left feeling like we’d kind of been taken advantage of. We split an entree with two sides, my wife had a salad and we shared a dessert. We also had a bottle of wine, a glass of champagne each and my wife had a cappuccino at the end. I had tap water and my wife had still. Her water was $35 which is literally robbing people. I feel like that’s a very deceitful practice to charge that much for water but not list it on the menu only to be shocked when you get the bill. In the end our bill was almost $500. For that amount you expect excellence to be delivered not just okay. They have high expectations from the customer as it relates to what they charge but don’t hold themselves to those same standards. In the end, we were very disappointed and won’t be back. We are titanium bonvoy members and love staying at the Ritz and will continue to but just won’t dine at this particular establishment. Don’t waste your hard earned money here.

We went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a wonderful evening . We had tasting menu with wine pairing and it was perfect. Great staff and service was excellent. The ambience was romantic and seating was comfortable. My son even tasted the octopus for the first time and he liked it. Valet parking was free.

Second time coming here and it was as great as the first time. I had the Pepe pasta and it had such amazing flavor. My fiancé had the spinach tortelloni and it was just as good. Always an amazing time when we come, we drove 2 hours just to eat here and will be back again :)

This was such an amazing dining experience. I hear about so many restaurants being incredible and not delivering, but this one more than delivered! The food was exceptional, probably one of the best steaks we have ever had in our lives. The vegan spinach tortellini was absolutely delicious. Even just the little touches of an amuse bouche (a carrot sorbet), the bread options, the attention to detail and accommodating our allergy. Just a truly wonderful experience, so refreshing to have such amazing food and service. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so memorable.

Very nice meal and service. Requested a medium steak and got it well done but still tasted good. You’re getting capital grille prices but not the same quality of steak/meats. It was a good meal and experience but not for the cost

What a birthday I had in here. I wanted a good dinner with my family and this place really delivered. Service was great end to end and the place is really cute We had steak, pasta, oysters, salads everything was amazing. We even had a vegan in the party and she loved it

Consistently one of the best restaurants in Orlando. Our dinner was amazing. A carrot and arugula salad is a new menu item and super good. Perfect spring/summer salad. Whole flounder and the grouper were outstanding! The kitchen team is so creative and inventive and the food always beautifully plated and good. The service team absolutely complete the experience Kain and his team took great care of us, made suggestions, recommended the perfect wine parings. One of my favorite things about K&S is how members of the team, like Tony, remember you and conversations you have had with them during previous dinners. They ALL know how to make an evening special.

We had an amazing experience at knife and spoon. Everything was great. The only issue was that the bread was not warm when we initially got it, but they brought out a fresh roll within minutes

I’ve been to many Michelin starred restaurants and part of the allure is the presentation of the courses. I felt that I was at a regular restaurant. It lacked that visual effect. I also enjoy table linens at fine dining establishments and there were none here.

We tried the green menu tasting menu, it was very interesting. My favorite was the octopus dish! We were a bit unhappy with the simple salad and the third entree of seasonal vegetables. The vegetables we record were 80% radish, which neither person enjoyed. The service was phenomenal all night! The setting and simple but beautiful preparation for our anniversary celebration was above and beyond expectations. Will be back

This was an incredible experience. Our server Pedro was amazing and ensured we didn’t feel rushed as our reservation was at 9:30 pm. My filet was cooked to absolute perfection. I’ve dined in fine dining steakhouses all over the world, including Capa last night, and this was the best steak I’ve ever had. Compliments to the chefs & staff. We will be back!

Food was good, not great. I’ve had MUCH better steaks and other dishes. My wife’s filet, was ordered medium and cooked to a hockey puck. Not worth the value. I recommend STK.
