Great food. Great service. Food selection was beyond the ordinary and unpretentious. Prices was very reasonable. I enjoyed my experience so much that I had to go back a few days later.

Food was amazing!! I attended for Mother’s Day/Graduation weekend. They offered an unlimited 90min brunch with mimosas. Black owned business, very chic decor along with historical influences.

This is my second time going to kitchen savages. The service was a little slow this time, although it was busy, and it did seem that there was only one server, one bartender, and the manager. Overall, the food was fantastic again the atmosphere was nice and the drinks were very good.

Although the food was delicious and the aesthetics were pleasing I would NOT recommend this establishment. Customer service was just not there with this place. There were horrible wait times without being informed beforehand. Drinks came out with the food. Presentation was not a factor as the menu prices and services fees accumulated should reflect 5 star service and presentation. We were offered plastic silverware because of how busy they were. We complained to the manager and the owner but no issues were resolved. The manager even took a sip out of my friend’s drink to see if he could understand his complaint about the drink being watered down. That was simply a first for me in hospitality! So ethically and morally wrong of him to do that! He was very condescending and simply gave excuses instead of solutions. Although my appetizer after receiving it after an hour of waiting was delicious - I’d never return. The service was just simply awful - something I hope I never have to experience again. The price point just did not match the quality received. I felt robbed of my $60 for ONE appetizer and ONE drink because there’s service fees built into your bill already. It’s been almost a week as I’m writing this review and I’m still peeved at my experience, smh!

Hmmm…just okay. Ordered Catfish and Grits…grits were a little gritty but catfish fried to perfection. Mac n Cheese delightful not your typical cheese pull but flavorful. Now to drinks…the cocktails are good but expensive so expect to pay $15-25 per cocktail! We wanted the mimosa carafe but check this out the flavors on the menu are not juice flavors only added syrup to the OJ so if you suffer from acid reflux (from oj) please dont order!

I put together a brunch gathering for my brunch club sisters and management were very accommodating. The wait staff was amazing and the food was delicious. It was truly a wonderful experience.

Was there to celebrate my mom’s birthday. I met with the owner who shared the mural on the wall was of his mother so that was nice. There were a few items on the menu that wasn’t available which was why I came specifically but the other dishes that we ordered more than made up for it! The drinks were so divine and they allowed us to switch out one that we didn’t fancy without any problems! We had two younger kids who usually are picky eaters but absolutely finished their meals!!! The music was just right genre and volume! I will be going back!

The ambiance is wonderful for a date night, no need to yell to enjoy an intimate conversation. The meals are prepared with love, so don't expect fast food. It is an experience to be enjoyed. The staff are very polite. I recently celebrated my mother's 83rd birthday there and everyone on staff were so sweet and helpful.

Was excited to try this place. The food was ok. I had the seafood shrimp and grits which included crab, lobster, and shrimp. The lobster was way, way, way too tough. I shouldn't have to saw it to break it into different pieces. The gris and crab was excellent. The shrimp was also a bit tough. I ordered from the brunch menu in Sunday. Dinner does not start until 4 PM. Overall, I would rate this restaurant average.

Five of my friends and I chose to eat here to celebrate two friends’ birthday. The restaurant was smaller than expected, but the ambience was perfect. We brought cupcakes with us and were told there was a $30 cake fee (for informational purposes only). We were seated quickly. However, it took the server about 15-20 minutes to introduce herself and take our drink and appetizer order. It took us another 20-30 minutes to receive our drinks, which we felt was a little slow seeing as the bartender was not busy. We also had to ask for water multiple times before we received it. Our appetizers came out fairly quickly. We ordered crab cake egg rolls, wings, oyster rockefella, seafood deviled eggs, and a few other items. The wings were amazing, oysters were decent, and the egg rolls were flavorful but dry. We placed our entree order, when the appetizers came out, which consisted of short ribs, lamb chops, Cajun pasta, salmon, and two orders of wings. Approximately 30minutes after placing our order, we were told by our server that our food was being plated and would be out shortly, we ordered our third round of drinks. However, we never received our entrees. When we called for the server, we were told that the kitchen was backed up and our food would be out soon. We noticed that many tables around us, who were seated 30 minutes to an hour after us, were being served their entrees; tables who also ordered appetizers and drinks. We waited another 15 minutes, still no food. We asked for a manager to see what was holding up our order. There was no manager on duty, but the owner was there. He refused to come out and speak with us. The server relayed to us that she told the owner he was wrong for not coming to our table. Sadly, she was fired on the spot. Our check was never brought to the table to close out. We still never received our entrees and I personally had to go to the bar, explain what happened, ask for our check to pay our bill, and find somewhere else to eat.

Food is very expensive and I don’t like the fact you don’t cater to kids (kids menu and high chairs). To top it off I ordered a burger and the restaurant ran out of buns

Location‼️ - 3/5 you have to park on 13th street and walk about block or two to get to the restaurant about a 5-6 min walk Customer service‼️ 2/5- all tho the communication was extremely well and professional the service was relatively slow. Our reservation was for 8pm took about 15mins to get our drinks , 35 mins appetizers and about 40mins to get entrees by the way these are set menus for Valentine’s Day three course meal . Dessert we decided to take it to go cause of how long it was taking them , Ambience/aesthetics 3/5 ‼️ very mellow and chill kinda of a warm feeling it was cool Iguess Food 3.5/5‼️ wings - was good , flavor was there and everything could use less breading but no real complaints, they ran out of brussels sprouts. They ran out of mashed potatoes, so I ended up with a braised short ribs. Any mashed potatoes or vegetables.. they substituted the mashed potatoes for macaroni and cheese which had a lot of flavor by the way. Them running out of food kind of hurt the rating.

We absolutely loved everything about this place. I was worried as the reviews were fairly mixed. No worries!!! Debbie, our server, rescued us before we even got started. She explained the special valentines day pre-fix menu. ($75 each). We ordered and thus began one of our best meal experiences ever. Everything was a perfect 10 for the wife and I. Lamb lollipops, mashed potatoes, asparagus, chicken wings, crab egg rolls, braised beef, peach cobbler cheesecake, and the cotton candy drinks. All were prepared to perfection!

First off the venue itself was pretty and the set up was nice. I ordered Cajun pasta with salmon and spinach and it was amazing. The sauce was up to par and I had to take leftovers home. The waitress was sweet I liked her.

Making a reservation was easy. If you have a large party majority of your group will need to be there before getting seated. Food is BOMB. Crab cake eggrolls are top tier and the jerk pasta. Really nice ambience and playlist. Only street parking available.

I made reservations for Sunday brunch. It wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately. I asked for tea. My husband asked for coffee. They had neither. We placed our orders but neither entree was available. Whatever we ended up getting took a long time and didn't make much of an impression. I've been trying to remember what it was for weeks and still don't have a clue. I do remember that my water glass and flatware were dirty. The waitress gave us clean, disposable flatware. I didn't bother to ask for a new glass. I just didn't drink. My husband paid by credit card and had the receipt e-mailed. He misspelled the address so we never got it. The bill for 2 was $98. I ate leftovers from my fridge when I got home because I was still hungry. The star is for the waitress that tried her best to make our visit pleasant despite the restaurant's failings.

Absolutely horrible experience and I will NEVER go there again! They didn’t want to honor my rewards points I earned thru the app. Manager was a huge DICK totally sarcastic and should not be in food service. Seriously lacking people skills. All he wanted was money….didn’t care about pleasing the customer at all. It’s all about customer retention

The food was okay. It wasn't very favorable. I had salmon and cheese grits. The salmon was bland.. Our server was attentive and had a wonderful personality! Additionally, the gentleman that brought out the food had white hair on his black tee shirt....He should have had an apron on. Overall, it was just okay!
