Created to deliver the best in comfort food, drinks and vibes to America, Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic soul food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist. In addition, Kitchen + Kocktails will feature oxtails, greens, black eyed peas, and candied yams to go with desserts such as peach cobbler, chocolate cake and banana pudding.

Seated quickly and ambiance was amazing ! Our sever was attentive . Blackened Catfish, black eyed peas, collard greens were delicious! However, everything else….. salmon bites, crab cakes, fried green tomatoes shrimp & grits, short ribs were extremely salty. We spoke to the chef and he was very apologetic. Would definitely give them a second chance!

Out of state visitor and this was on my list of places to try. Everything was amazing. We went on a weekday and was able to get seated immediately with our reservation. Entire staff was super nice and welcoming. My server Malencia (I believe ) gave top tier service. She gave me recommendations and made sure she checked on us throughout our meal. The food was amazing. I tried the fried green tomatoes over grits , topped with shrimp. Chefs kiss. My daughter and I had the cajun alfredo and it was ssooo good. My youngest had the peach cobbler waffles and chicken. My friend had the catfish. I tried the catfish and it was seasoned and fried to perfection. Everything came out hot and fresh.

I loved everything about this place. From the decor to the laid back servers. Everyone is so welcoming. It’s such a vibe and the food was perfect. I’ll definitely be here again.

The food was excellent. Our server went on break and was gone for a little while. The photographer (who worked for a separate company), did not take a picture of me and my date as I noticed him getting pictures of all of the other tables. Overall, I would return due to the food being excellent.

Food was pretty good, I ordered the fried catfish w collard greens and mac & cheese, I did not care for the mac and cheese personally. The other two people in my party had chicken and waffles, and said it was very good. I also had a patron frozen margarita which definitely took at least 30 minutes to get to my table. Our reservation was at 6, we arrived at 6:08, we were not seated until 6:30. Our waiter was okay, I did not like how he asked me “what was the point” when I asked him to split our check, as that is none of his business and unprofessional to me. Overall I may try another location for the food, but the service was 2/10 for me, I did see previous negative reviews for Kitchen & Kocktails, but wanted to try for myself.

From the moment we were seated, Ashley was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Ashley's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she took the time to explain the menu in detail. What really stood out, however, was Ashley's exceptional service. The food was delicious, but Ashley's service truly made the experience unforgettable. We will definitely be returning to Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley.

I honestly feel as though the food and dining experience is over rated. The food was decent but the drinks were extremely overpriced. I think it is not an experience I would try again but I do think that others should try it out for themselves to make their own assessment. I didn’t like that my drinks came out at the end and my entree was out before I had finished my appetizers. I would have enjoyed a more paced experience but other than that it was okay.
