I absolutely love Kingyo and its affiliated restaurants. The food is always delicious, and they're so welcoming of people celebrating different occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries. The only downside to dining here is the lack of parking (even available pay parking is scarce!), but that's 100% the City's fault and doesn't reflect on the restaurant itself.

Always a great experience eating here when I’m in Vancouver. Brought 2 friends along and the will return. They loved it.

The best Japanese Izakaya in north America. Food was quite similar with real Japanese one. Staff was nice.

Amazing Japanese food and excellent service. Everything was fresh and tasty and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Amazing food. The truffle carbonara udon and tan tan ramen are a must. We also ordered the hot stone Wagyu. Anything Wagyu beef is delicious, but for the portion you get for the price it's a little disappointing considering you want more of it. The service was great. The decor and ambiance is unique - it's like you've stumbled in a Japanese tavern. This restaurant is always full for dinners, so I highly recommend making reservations.

Place a bit too dim for my liking. Not sure about the hot stone wagyu beef. Didn’t taste like the melting ones we had and this is quite expensive for what they offered.

I love Japanese food. But Kingyo brings my experience to the next level. Even my picky husband enjoyed everything that we ordered, from appetizers to desserts!
