It was our first time here and everything was great. The drinks were good and there’s so many options. We did a mimosa tower. The brunch food was wonderful! And there’s vegetarian options.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY. Place feels dirty - table tops sticky, floors collecting debris, menus greasy and overall ambiance that of a frat party in Oxnard, California. Service sketchy and unpleasant. This place is all about the Up Sell, and if you are even a bit deliberative, the pressure to buy tequila or anything else is tremendous. There are many other options nearby, so please do yourself a favor and avoid the sewer of a restaurant.

Honestly, we were brought in immediately with a friendly host which was very nice and we didn’t say a word! She knew it was us and we got the best waiter that took good care of us, always fill in our water without us asking for anything, always asking if we need anything, very well with his timing, and surprised me with a birthday dessert!!

They were able to seat us before our reservation for brunch. The staff were wonderful. I ordered the short rib benedict, and my partner ordered the chilaquiles. His order was brought out and mine was brought out a good 20 minutes later. The food was delicious though despite the delay of the second plate. Music was a little loud for our liking.

Crispy avocado taco is absolutely delicious. Followed by the surf and turf taco and the fish taco. The drink…. Those are a wow!! Bartenders were awesome. Definitely going back when I’m in the area.

This is my second time here, I brought some girlfriends for brunch. Had a great time. Loved our fabulous waiter, the food and drinks were all very delicious. Birria omelet and Bloody Marias (with tequila) were tasty!

It was our first time at this restaurant and the service was not good. First of all, we were seated outside and when I asked for the heater to be turned on, the waitress told us no that they can not turn it on. I would be okay with that answer if there were other heaters already turned on. As for the food, the quality was okay. The main dishes did not come out all together, leaving me to wait 45 minutes for my meal while my wife and daughter had their meal already. This restaurant is more for drinking on a night out rather than a restaurant that actually take care of their customers.

Really nice place. Was stuck in a corner with a group of people and the service was really slow. Had to get a random person’s attention 4 times. Never the less, the atmosphere was great, music and decor were festive. Even as late as they were, the waiters were polite and nice. Would recommend again. Food was good too.

Been to this spot for a long time - used to be a weekly regular to be honest - came back after about a year and this place was completely different - was over last night for a dinner with a couple of friends. We basically got kicked out of our table, my wife and her friend weren’t even half way done with their drink, food was cold and nothing compared to what it used to be. We were literally pushed out of this restaurant by the server and by the so called GM - I forget her name from last night. Unprofessional and a complete disappointment from what this spot used to be. Jorge Cuevas - this spot is falling apart and I know for a fact that from having various discussions with you you would disapprove of this service and ethics. Ya need to go back to the drawing board my friend or this place is going to end up like West Hollywood location. Loved this spot for a long time and unfortunately the decision of not coming back again was made last night. It’s very unfortunate cause I used to love this spot, the service, the people and the ambiance -

Great food! Great service! Great drinks! Top patio seemed exceptional to sit at but they wouldn’t allow our party of 5 to sit there (even with none of the tables occupied)

The is good considering it is a bar. This place is for the under 30 crowd. That is not a bad thing just not the right place for me since 30 was awhile ago.

This place is insane ridiculous spend your time and money on something worth it.food was gross who the hell mixes Japanese and Mexican flavors. Service is awful.seafood was not fresh.noisy environment.

Feels unexpected to say it, but King & Queen Cantina has the best California burritos and mango Micheladas in San Diego. The vibes are definitely more geared toward partying, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a lively spot that has fantastic food and service.

The food was overall was good. A bit greasy. Server was really good and welcoming. Menu was complex since the last time we went seems like it was revamped and over complicated. Really hard to find a menu item we wanted with lighting and the menu layout and design. Drink menu and food menu were seprate BOOKS which made it additionally difficult. Good Food. Good Service. Over Priced for the overall experience. If made more simple and efficient would be worth the price.

Decent food. Ambience depends on where they sit you. This time, my large group of 12 was sat in a dark corner with barely any lighting. We barely saw our food, seriously. Service is a hit or miss. Either good service or you get servers like the people who served us this time, calling us “buddy” like we were 10 and yelling “7 dollar margarita!” instead of simply saying a single or double margarita. I had to tell our server we’re not asking how much they are, we can read the menu. I dont know, it was a bit degrading. Considering they weren’t busy at all, they should be lucky we didn’t cancel our reservation. But if all you care about is food, I recommend this spot. Just don’t ask your server questions, they might start acting irritated.

The table was ready as soon as we arrived. Sat outside under the heat lamp and it was perfect. The waitress was super friendly and made some excellent recommendations. The food and drinks came really fast, the attentiveness of the staff was incredible. The food was fresh and did not disappoint. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening! I highly recommend King & Queen for a delicious authentic Mexican dinner!!! I shall be back

I highly recommend Kings and Queens! Yesterday we went to celebrate a sibling birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing! Drinks were great and the service was awesome!
