It was a beautiful restaurant and food was good. It is overpriced and they charge me twice on my card. I tried calling the restaurant with no answer it just kept ringing busy but it wasn’t busy when we went.

Honestly, I feel like their popular-due-to-influencers days are over--they try to up-charge for everything. They had the nest areas cordoned off but the reservations there weren't even full---we had friends that had come a few years back who were allowed a quick photo in the nests if they weren't booked. There was only one filled when we were there and they kept trying to get our table of 10 to pay 8,000 pesos to switch to the nests. The vibe felt like everything was intended to be super exclusive and you had to buy your way into different areas of the facility, but it honestly just felt like they're past their heyday and the restaurant just felt...empty and desperate.

Food was bad, scallops cold, pasta had no flavour, my friends steak was cold and the fish made me sick. I’d come here for drinks to see the architecture but I wouldn’t get the food again

Kin Toh came highly recommended, and while the rooftop views and cocktails were outstanding, the food was nothing special. Our server was great, but not one food item WOW’d me- and each item is pricey! To experience the rooftop is an extra $67/person (which includes one drink), and tbh this is the only reason I’d go back. Rooftop is an entire vibe with 10/10 cocktails and an excellent DJ to watch the sun go down. Get drinks and have the rooftop experience here, but get dinner somewhere else!

The overall restaurant and grounds are very nice. But there are a lot of very nice places in Tulum. Portion size is a bit better than expected, but food and drink quality and flavors are nothing you can’t get an any other restaurant for less than half the price. Most staff seem very pretentious and unfriendly. Sometimes even rude. Several times we were made to feel unwelcome. Overall experience is ok. If it wasn’t for the design it would be one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve had.

our server was kind, and obviously the space is beautiful, but this place is absurdly expensive for what you get and the flavors are just not good. we came here two years ago and it was way more mayan inspired. this time there were strange pastas, all of the food took long and came out warm to cold. $120 USD for american style pot roast with mashed potatoes, bizarre. & why would you not seat the best part of your restaurant when its slower rather than only seat your nests for a fee? you make your place look empty and less busy, when it would be full every night. just trying to take dumb peoples money and it wasnt working. people were turning away left and right. just a poorly ran place trying to steal peoples money. not good.

Gorgeous atmosphere but the rest is below average. The food was horrible, extremely overpriced. I read the reviews before going and in my head i said my people complain because of the price. It is beyond the price, not only you pay over a hundred us for appetizers but also you are being served the worst food you could ever eat for that price. Horrible experience overall.

Comida fea ! Desde hace mucho queria ir a su restaurante, por lo lindo que se ve el sitio, aun lei en muchos reviews que el servicio era malo y la comida tambien , decidí tratar por mi cuenta, en efecto la comida super corriente con decirles que los totopos estaban super guardados y el servicio no es de lo mejor. me da mucha pena que un lugar tan lindo y tan conocido no explote su potencial con buena comida ......... la comida del parque le da 1000 a 1 ! Ugly food ! For a long time I wanted to go to your restaurant, because of how nice the place looks, I even read in many reviews that the service was bad and the food too, I decided to try on my own, in fact the food is super ordinary with telling you that the tortilla chips They were super expired and the service is not the best. It makes me very sad that such a beautiful and well-known place does not exploit its potential with good food......the park's food its way better 1000 to 1!

Most overrated and over priced meal of my life. For two people, we each had 1 drink, a starter, entree (not even premium) and a dessert and the bill was $500 USD!!! The service was also mediocre and not what I’d expect for a place so expensive. You’re basically just paying to dine in a treehouse which is totally not worth it IMO. Save your money and go to ARCA down the street for a real dining experience.

Vraie expérience à travers l’ambiance et le cadre, une vraie prouesse architecturale! Par contre, prix indécents : minimum 100€/plat et entrée, le prix d’un étoilé Michelin….totalement SURFAIT!

Beautiful restaurant, ridiculous prices!!!!! We sat in a nest table for 5 people,( price $750 dollars) food was nasty, we got different simple plates and the only thing that was good was a fish my husband got. That was another $800 dollars, waiter and restaurant decor were awesome.

DO NOT DINE HERE. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I went here for a friends birthday dinner. They completely forgot her entree. When we finally tracked down the waiter to get her entree.. he asked what it was. 10 minutes later he finally brought it out. I think the waiter forgot about it and it sat in the heat in the non air conditioned restaurant in humid Mexico. She told him she does not want it, it tasted sour from the coconut milk tasting warm and she was unpleased with that as her meal. The waiter did not offer to replace the entree or substitute it for anything. He just entirely took the plate away. When the bill came, we were charged not only for the unconsumed meal, but the salmon cost $118 USD. So for two plates of Salmon, a desert, three cocktails, & three shots.. our bill was over $600 USD, more expensive than any bill I’ve ever paid in Los Angeles, Hawaii, OR New York. And those are the most expensive cities in America. I’ve been all over the world. Nowhere have I ever paid that amount for what was actually served. Not worth it. We tried disputing us being charged for the unconsumed meal. Manager was no help and was entirely rude completely disregarding the fact that the meal was completely unconsumed and they didn’t replace it. My friend did not have dinner at her own birthday dinner. It was sad and very pathetic to run a business like that. You at least replace what she was unsatisfied with or you remove it from the bill. I asked around Mexico and this is normal. Normal customer service practices that is reasonable no matter where you are in the world. They simply did not care and harassed us out of the restaurant. Not to mention the entire restaurant has no AC or main light source. The entire restaurant is lit with candles. You can’t see anything and they also try smoking you out by burning BOWLS of incense in every which direction.

1st time in Tulum and I was celebrating my birthday with some friends. I thought my experience was going to be above and beyond and it was NOT!!! I was so disappointed and annoyed. The waiter act like he didn’t want to wait on us and unattended. The process of the food was over priced ($125+UDS) and not worth the quantity of the food. I ordered the ShortRibs which was ok, one of my guest ordered the duck and it was pink and undercooked, and the other guest had to speak with the owner about her food!! The ambience and the view was the only reason why I chose to celebrate my birthday at Kim Toh.

Door staff can be super rude, they charge for anything and everything. We asked to grab a drink before dinner and they wanted to charge us $60 per person to just access the bar. Food was not great and super overpriced. Lots of mosquitos.

I’ve had the opportunity to experience amazing food and restaurants all over the world and Kin Toh was an absolute disappointment. I read many bad reviews ahead of time but decided to give it a try regardless because of the unique restaurant design and views. It was not worth it! The basic entrees are all $120+ USD and cocktails are $25+ USD. I’m happy to pay for an amazing experience, but the food was not good and neither was the service. The restaurant space is cool, but not worth the price of a bad and very expensive meal in Tulum. I would suggest having a drink on the third floor bar to check out the space, and then go have dinner at one of the other amazing places in Tulum. This place is simply taking advantage of tourists becuase they can. Trust me, believe the many reviews you read indicating this is not worth it.

After reading reviews I was hesitant in trying this place, the food turned out to be good but very overpriced for what it was. My husband and I were enjoying everything until we paid and our server insisted that we leave a cash tip and when we were on our way out he basically chased us down and demanded we tip a higher percentage after already giving 15% since the service was okay but not great. This honestly just ruined our experience here and because of that we will be returning or recommending this place.

Worst restaurant in Tulúm. Very pricey, I mean really pricey We paid $5,000 pesos for dinner without alcohol. Food is mediocre at best, actually less than that. Have you ever paid $1,000 pesos for one Empanada?! That’s the place. Never coming back.

This place is only good to visit for its unique design. The servers are also very polite. The food is not commensurate with the prices they charge. Was nothing special and it is very strange pricing policy to have each entree dish priced the same. Basically not good value but the view and the design are cool.

Unfortunately not worth the money, service could’ve been better, you have to pay $600 pesos per person as you come in prior to eating and having anything to drink and then pay the difference when you leave. Menu was small and not great. I had enchiladas and the tortilla was hard and chunky. The filling had no flavor. I was celebrating my birthday and many restaurants in Tulum will go all out like Rosa negra! But they didn’t do anything . Won’t come back regardless of it being viral for its views , you can’t walk in and see the jungle roof top unless you pay $1000 pesos which is ridiculous considering I ate there. Went to the museum next door , way better experience and the staff was incredible. Worth the visit. Students get 50% off too.

Service was great, the view was very nice as well. The food was good as well. But, the place is very expensive. More expensive than in the US. To go to the upper area and take pictures they charged us $1,000 pesos ($63 US dollars) per person! I feel if you have a dinner reservation at the restaurant like we did and consuming their drinks we shouldn’t have had that charge. Keep in mind $1,000 pesos includes to go upstairs and take pictures and 1 drink! Overall it was OK.

This place is BEAUTIFUL, special, unique and the service was outstanding. It is seriously something worth visiting. Food presentation was beautiful, ingredients were very fresh. Portions were small, wasn't happy with the wine selection and I thought my French toast lacked in flavor so taking one star off. This restaurant is a destination. The guy could have threw my food at me and charged me twice as much and I still would have felt privileged to be there.
