Kin Dee steht für Contemporary Thai Cuisine – serviert werden saisonal wechselnde Gerichte zum Teilen für 65€ pro Person.
Auf Basis traditioneller Rezepte treffen saisonale und regionale
Produkte auf originale Thai Aromen. Zitronengras, Kaffir-Limette, Wildingwer, Galanga, Curcuma, Koriander oder rotes Chili sind grundlegende Zutaten, die Dalad Kambhu aus Thailand importiert. Die Küchenchefin stellt daraus Pasten nach traditionellen Rezepten her: „Pasten sind für uns Thais wie Käse für die Franzosen. Es gibt unzählige Arten – Wir machen sie alle selber.“
Das Fleisch im Kin Dee stammt von Biofarmen und der Fisch und die
Meeresfrüchte sind nachhaltig gefangen. Nach Möglichkeit ersetzen Kambhu und ihr internationales Küchenteam thailändische Produkte mit solchen aus der Region.
Dalad Kambhu und das Kin Dee Berlin wurden 2019 mit einem Michelin Stern ausgezeichnet.

Starters were way too small should have got a whole dish per person of each for the cost. Did not make sense when they were so small yet we all got a dish of the dessert each

Ein wunderbarer Abend für uns, es gab etwas zu feiern, wir hatten einen sehr schönen Tisch bekommen und wurden sehr aufmerksam und liebevoll von einem munteren und erfreulich "buntem" Team mit jeweils ganz eigenem Gestus und viel Hingabe bedient. Die brandenburgischen Nuancen im Thai-Essen waren erfrischend neu und pointiert (wilder Rosenkohl, Wildschwein, Grünkohl – so hat man das noch nie geschmeckt), wenn auch wegen des zu warmen Frühlings schon etwas aus der Zeit gefallen. Das tat dem Genuss aber keinen Abbruch. Wir freuen uns schon auf das angekündigte neue Menü, denn das Kin Dee geht nach der angekündigten Schließung Ende Mai für zwei weitere Monate in die Verlängerung. Wir versuchen nicht traurig zu sein - auch Kochkunst braucht wie jede Kunst manchmal eine schöpferische Pause, und irgendwo werden wir wieder auf ein spannendes Kin Dee treffen, da sind wir uns sicher. Und jetzt: unbedingt noch hingehen, es lohnt sich!

I am so sad to learn that this place will be closing. A great loss for the Berlin culinary scene. Food was amazing - the mackerel main dish had the perfect balance of flavor and a little kick and was prepared perfectly. Cannot recommend more. Go before it is too late!

Schade, dass das Restaurant Ende Mai schließt! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen ausgesprochen lecker - tolle Geschmacksnuancen. Die Idee, verschiedene Gerichte zum Teilen zu servieren, bringt Vielfalt und Abwechslung in die Speisefolge. Schnell noch hin - ehe es zu spät ist!!

Es war ein toller Abend mit sehr gutem Essen, schönen Gesprächen und in einer wirklich angenehmen Atmosphäre. Das Menü war spannend, sehr vielfältig und niemals zu scharf. Die Weinbegleitung dazu sehr passend, teilweise überraschend. Sowas macht Freude vielen Dank

Dadurch, dass nur ein Menü angeboten wird, ist das Restaurant nicht wirklich Familien kompatibel. Das Essen war gut allerdings hätten wir uns für den Preis ein echtes aha Erlebnis gewünscht. Das ist nicht eingetreten.

An amazing selection of authentic food, a true flavour sensation! Great service we were attended to throughout the meal. I was really pleased to be offered to taste the champagne before buying. I would highly recommend this restaurant to tourists and locals alike.

Ich interessierte mich sehr für gutes thailändisches Essen. Für mich entsprach der Preis für die Kombination aus Essen und Wein jedoch nicht den Erwartungen. Das Essen war auf jeden Fall sehr interessant und hat gut geschmeckt. Außerdem ist die Beleuchtung sehr hell und grell, ich würde über eine Abschwächung nachdenken.

Hier ist man thailändische Küche vom Feinsten. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, bemüht und sehr aufmerksam. Man hört zu und geht auf die Befindlichkeiten der Gäste ein. Alle Gänge waren sehr fein abgestimmt und das Menü steigerte sich von Gang zu Gang. Wenn wir nicht in Hamburg, sondern in Berlin wohnen würden, dann wären wir regelmäßig hier.
