Kin Dee showcases contemporary Thai cuisine, serving a three-course menu of seasonal plates to share.

Using traditional Thai recipes, seasonal and regional produce, Kin Dee creates its authentic Thai flavors from scratch each day. Essential ingredients such as lemongrass, Kaffir limes, wild ginger, galangal, tumeric, coriander seeds and red chilies are imported by chef Dalad Kambhu from carefully-selected suppliers in Thailand. Following traditional recipes, Kambhu creates her own homemade curry pastes: ‘Pastes are for us Thais what cheese is for the French; there are countless kinds. We prepare all of ours in house’. The meat is from organic farms, while the fish and seafood are both sustainably caught. Whenever possible, Kambhu and her international team replace Thai products with locally available products.

Dalad Kambhu and Kin Dee were awarded a Michelin star in 2021 for the third year in a row.

The mains were really excellent - beef cheek in curry and a fish course. Even though the appetizers were good, they were fairly similar so we felt there could have been more variety in the starters.

Starters were way too small should have got a whole dish per person of each for the cost. Did not make sense when they were so small yet we all got a dish of the dessert each

Ein wunderbarer Abend für uns, es gab etwas zu feiern, wir hatten einen sehr schönen Tisch bekommen und wurden sehr aufmerksam und liebevoll von einem munteren und erfreulich "buntem" Team mit jeweils ganz eigenem Gestus und viel Hingabe bedient. Die brandenburgischen Nuancen im Thai-Essen waren erfrischend neu und pointiert (wilder Rosenkohl, Wildschwein, Grünkohl – so hat man das noch nie geschmeckt), wenn auch wegen des zu warmen Frühlings schon etwas aus der Zeit gefallen. Das tat dem Genuss aber keinen Abbruch. Wir freuen uns schon auf das angekündigte neue Menü, denn das Kin Dee geht nach der angekündigten Schließung Ende Mai für zwei weitere Monate in die Verlängerung. Wir versuchen nicht traurig zu sein - auch Kochkunst braucht wie jede Kunst manchmal eine schöpferische Pause, und irgendwo werden wir wieder auf ein spannendes Kin Dee treffen, da sind wir uns sicher. Und jetzt: unbedingt noch hingehen, es lohnt sich!

I am so sad to learn that this place will be closing. A great loss for the Berlin culinary scene. Food was amazing - the mackerel main dish had the perfect balance of flavor and a little kick and was prepared perfectly. Cannot recommend more. Go before it is too late!

Schade, dass das Restaurant Ende Mai schließt! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen ausgesprochen lecker - tolle Geschmacksnuancen. Die Idee, verschiedene Gerichte zum Teilen zu servieren, bringt Vielfalt und Abwechslung in die Speisefolge. Schnell noch hin - ehe es zu spät ist!!
