Kiln is a small restaurant in the heart of the Ouseburn. We make everything ourselves and push to be better than the day before.

We serve brunch every morning from 10am to 4:30pm.

Our Mediterranean & Middle Eastern inspired tapas style menu is served from 5pm to 10pm.

Our great coffee, homemade cakes and cocktails are served all day - and we’re dog friendly!

Amazing service, food, atmosphere and interiors. My six year old is a fussy eater and can’t stop talking about how tasty the crushed potatoes, chicken skewer, and sourdough pittas were. We will definitely be back. Best restaurant in Newcastle, and love the incorporation of ceramics and pottery studio.

Lovely atmosphere and food as always! Looking forward to visiting again. Server was a little unenthusiastic but it was very busy so this is understandable!

Went there for brunch. Environment was nice and vibe was on point. Enjoyed the kiln hummus and would defo go back for it. Took approximately 45 mins to be served with food after ordering which wasn’t an issue if we weren’t in a rush to the tunnel tour afterwards. Mentioned it to a member of staff and issues was resolved right away so we felt it’s alright. They do a free pottery making session which you are required to book in advanced. Sounds exciting and looking forward to visit again! We met a lovely staff when we were paying our bills. Didn’t manage to catch his name but he was so kind, enthusiastic and patient to explain the about the pottery session to us! :) thanks for the lovely customer service !!!

Kiln never disappoints. From friendly and professional staff, a great choice of cocktails to wonderfully seasoned and tasty food. It's my go to spot when in Newcastle and well worth a visit.

Our third visit to Kiln. It's such a great venue for food. Staff all lovely too. The food is so good.
