The restaurant is attractive and busy. Reception and bar staff are very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and very tasty. Waiter was terrible. He took our order and that was last we saw of him. Sat there from appetizers onwards with empty drink glasses (busboy was very good about filling our water) wanting to order wine for our main courses and nothing. Saw him walking around but never returned. Finally waved him over and asked for our bill. He brought it and then didn’t return. We flagged another waiter to take it away. Very disappointing for what should have been a great evening.

Had the pre theatre dinner. Ordered zucchini croquettes, fish of the day over risotto and walnut baklava. The zucchini was bland, two disks. The fish was decent. The Greek white wine was good but I had to ask the bartender for another drink. I had to get flag down a waiter to pay by bill so I could go to a play. .

A great pre-theater dinning experience. The calamari sea bass and lamb chops were delightful. Do make it a necessity when catching a broadway show. The experience will set you evening on the right track!!

It was my first time there for an early lunch. I was surprised how crowded the restaurant was I’m sure it was due to the excellent food. The service was excellent I’m sorry I didn’t take our servers name. I had the crab cake appetizer and the salmon both were great. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling in the area.

Very busy and took a minute to get going but once the first course came out we moved comfortably through our meal. A good alternative to Milos or Avra at this point. It is loud, I didn't mind but not necessarily good ambiance for a business meeting at peak hours.

A great pre-theatre meal! Kale salad was original and well-seasoned. Kalamari - fresh and flavorful. Sea bass was a generous portion with delish spinach underneath. Both the chocolate and baklava desserts weren't too sweet so that the flavors of the other ingredients shined through. Our server and busser were attentive and not at all obsequious. Recommended highly!

This is our worse food experience there. They advertised for Greek Easter whole lamb on a spit and they served us lamb on the oven ! More embarrassing is that they argued with my Greek friend that the lamb is rotisserie !! also there was no live music as advertised !!! We are disappointed and we won’t go back to this restaurant - will go to AVRA instead ! Treat people respectfully and tell them the truth

Great for pre-Theater and prices were a little expensive but food was delicious. Service was attentive and at the end we did have Tobruk a hit to get to Theater

Our family enjoyed a wonderful evening of delicious food in a warm, welcoming environment. Service was great. Several members of our family who are avid fans of calamari and octopus said what the enjoyed tonight was some of the best they had ever had!

Server did not arrive until after 20 mins. Had to ask the host. We were seated without the drink menu so we had to ask for that and then the waiter didn’t come back for another 15 minutes. We were going to a show so at that time we had to rush the order. Food came before our drinks. The salads were delicious. The mushroom orzo needed more salt. The lamb and beef kebabs were dry and needed more sauce than we had a great time.

Service was excellent and really enjoyed the specials included in the business lunch! We arrived at 1pm and it was quite loud but subsided around 2pm.

Despite having a reservation, we were having to wait for a table so opted to sit at the bar. The bar staff were extremely attentive, let us know if happy hour specials and made it a fun experience. Might choose the bar option on purpose in the future.

Our server was attentive and excellent. Food was excellent. Terrific ambiance. My only complaint would be that our wine arrived after our soup. 🤔 I’d return to Kellari.

We had the perfect pre theatre dinner here. Picking and choosing among those delicious shareable dips, sardines and salad before a whole snapper beautifully cooked.

I had been here before, and had the appetiser of 3 types of Greek starter Tzatziki, Tarama etc. Comes with a huge heap of delicious Greek flat bread and is enough for a meal on its own. Very good indeed. Nice ambiance, glassware, napkins, etc. Service good. For New York, not bad value!

First time at this Midtown Greek higher and restaurant. Service was slow to start but picked up as we were pre-theater. The Bronzino was solid and the broiled chicken seem to be a hit.

I highly recommend the theatre pre-fixe option. It was well worth it and the options are excellent. Myself and my sister got the following dishes, and I truly recommend each one. -vegetarian keftedes -calamari -lavraki fileto -paidakia -baklava -kormos sokolata

I was expecting Greek flavors, I just didn't get that. I had salmon with spinach and potatoes. The salmon was fresh but had zero flavor. Same for the spinach. And, they literally put two French fry sized potatoes on the plate. The dish cost more than 48$. It was a pretty restaurant, but it was not worth it. I've has better salmon for a better value at Famous Dave's.

I have never had a bad meal here and tonight was no exception. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly. The service was great and the noise level was minimal. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Excellent find for pre-theatre. Sat at the spacious bar before dinner. I liked the spacing of the table where we sat. The server was engaged and helpful. Attentive even though he also had tables outside. Hostess & and managers were professional and friendly. The menu was great with an emphasis on seafood. Selections were wide ranging from lamb to Dover Sole. The tuna tar tare was phenomenal. The Mediterranean Seabass was perfect with spinach. A new dessert of biscotti and chocolate was delicious. I will definitely go back regardless of theatre being in the plans.
