I sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the scene around me. The sushi is fresh and fabulous from more traditional to inventive rolls. I did not order any cooked items but from what I saw coming out of the kitchen it all looked beautifully presented. It's a bit on the high price side but between the ambiance, food quality and service it was worth it.

Absolutely love the amount of care and effort the staff took for our special event as we were celebrating two birthdays. The food was amazing as always, but the staff was really over the top today. Can’t thank you all enough!

Always love coming to Kaviar. Sushi is very fresh and delicious. I love how the chefs modified some of the rolls, like rock shrimp and spicy tuna on crispy rice was absolutely amazing!

As a farewell meal for my mom we chose to go to sushi on a Wednesday night. We visited Kaviar in Pasadena. The ambience is elegant by way of dark and light contrast. There are some impactful Japanese motif pieces that accentuated the theme. The music is up beat and not overwhelming. As this was a celebration we chose the Chef's tasting menu. Every course was superb. I especially liked the Truffle Toro and the Miyazaki Wagyu which were melt in your mouth delicious. The service was on point, prompt and professional. Our server Gap was fun, gave great recommendations and took extra care of us through the evening. We are looking forward to returning!

We knew coming in that this would be expensive. It is still less than some sushi restaurants around LA, and the$50 discount on their website helped. This was a fairly simple process to add to the bill, once the waiter explained how it worked. Was a bit discouraged that everyone had to order the Omakase menu, as some of us kind of knew what we wanted. The Toro Tartare with gold flakes was amazing. The Edamame was also the best we have ever had. Most of the main dishes were a bit disappointing. We were there for my wife's Birthday and the dessert with the sparkler was perfect for her. The total bill was still rather high, but was a good time for a special celebration.
