Always a wonderful experience at Katya’s. The service (Kylie) and the food were exceptional. Chef Tony never disappoints. This is by far one of the top restaurants in the region!

Our first time back to Kataya since they've moved. While I miss the quaintness and ambiance of the old location, the quality of service and food, along with the buzz of the crowd, made it an enjoyable evening. Can't go wrong with the waygu filet or the lamb loin chops. Both were amazing, and there's so much more to try.

I got the lamb porterhouse loins with fingerling potatoes and mint curry sauce. The lamb loins were chewy but tasted fine. The sauce was fabulous! It made the whole meal! If I could've I would've bought a jar of the sauce to take home. I really like lamb but I've decided that unless it's slices off of a lamb roast I won't be getting it at restaurants anymore as I've been unlucky at finding tender lamb loins. My husband had the scallops over saffron rice and he said it was fine. The General Manager was very friendly and helped to guide us on some wine choices. The ambience was elegant.

It’s lost it’s ambiance. New location lacks the intimacy and charm of the original location. No longer feels special. Hated being stuck in the middle of a huge room at a tiny table for two In a loud atmosphere. People needed to yell to be heard. Not relaxing at all. We couldn’t even converse. Noted we were celebrating an anniversary on our reservation and no mention of that at all during our visit. They made it special at the last location. Also felt for these prices (which we expected for the quality of the food)we were nickel and dimed. Martini was more expensive than most places plus were charged $1 per olive! Then we both ordered an appetizer and entree and a salad. The server asked if we wanted to split anything… we then thought maybe that would be a good idea as it would be a lot of food to split the salad…then found out a $4 charge was added for the split salad. What an insult for a supposedly high end establishment. We won’t be back. The excellent food is not enough to make it an enjoyable experience. There are other places to go for this.

Above all for this night, the service was excellent. My wife had the scallops and ravioli, and the ravioli was great, scallops were just a little undercooked for her liking. I had the stuffed lobster with the black ink linguine. The stuffed lobster was outstanding, but being my first experience with the black linguine, I know now that it doesn't suit my palate. Of course, the Oregon wine we chose was superb and the bread is always the "best in town". wklc

New setting is not very charming. It feels very caverness and we were seated in the middle of the restaurant when there were plenty of open tables that were tucked against the wall and the table was really small. Unfortunately, for the level of service, cost, and ambience, the price is just too much. Don’t think we’ll be going back again anytime soon and it’s unfortunate because I used to think it was worth it but $60+ for short ribs when other places are charging significantly less for comparable food with better ambience and service is not Sustainable.

What a lovely experience. Beautiful place and the food was outstanding. The staff was attentive and amusing, executive chef came around to ensure we loved the food, concierge attended to every detail.
