Had reserved a table on the patio. It was closed even though it was a beautiful evening. Salads are small for the price. Takes awhile to get food even though not very busy. Would choose another option if one was open. Next time will drive into town.

Food was subpar. We ordered the peperoni pizza, house salad, Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, chicken wings and pretzel. We enjoyed the wings, mashed potatoes and the pretzel(sauces that accompanied the pretzel were not good). The pizza was not flavorful, the Caesar salad dressing had no flavor. It was disappointing to say the least. This is the third time I've dined there. The first was also not the greatest, I ordered the bluegill, it just didn't taste great. The second was decent, ordered the chicken quesadilla on cinco de mayo, that was good. I don't forsee us returning unfortunately.

My sister and I came to this restaurant before the Sister Sledge concert. Our server was nice and I appreciated her honesty regarding the appetizers. We went with the pretzel recommendation. I couldn't believe how HUGE the pretzel was. It was good and hot and very soft. We then ordered the salad and blue cheeseburger. The burger was juicy and very good along with the salad. We informed our server that we were running out of time and she promptly brought us our check as asked. I couldn't believe how reasonable to meal was. Including 2 drinks, it was under $60 for 2 people. If I lived closer, I would frequent this restaurant again. I recommend this restaurant to anyone going to one of the shows at the Four Winds or even if you live close to New Buffalo.

My ordered the filet mignon medium it came out. burnt and it wasn't round it looked terrible. The second wasn't any better both looked a crumbled piece of meat We've had the filet awhile ago it was good piece of meat .They didnt charge us so we ordered the ribs to go . They were supposed to come with fries which we didn't get . My lovely host gave me this comp to enjoy good food. The waitress was very nice and apologized but we know it's not her fault.

The Kankakee Grill at New Buffalo, Mi Four Winds has wonderful food and a fantastic staff. We have had a lot of their menu options and never had a bad one. The large pretzel is to die for , along with the shrimp and grits, buffalo mushroom ravioli , ribs and fries. I love the sweet potato cross cut fries and ask for steak gravy for dipping.

My friend and I had dinner there Monday the 22nd. The food there is not so good. We were disappointed with our meal so if you have to I would lean towards Timbers or the Coppersteak House.

Mediterranean salad was delicious! Special with the filet and lobster tail was just ok. Steak ordered medium rare came out well done. Husband’s ordered medium well was more toward medium, so we switched. Both lobster tails were a bit over done.

Waitress was trying but seemed overwhelmed. Waited 20 minutes for our soups and they were barely warm. Ordered filet mignon well done and it was Red, not nearly done. Band was the best part of the night.

My wife and I went for dinner. We requested a quiet area. They sat us at a table in the bar area and said it was quiet. Loud people at the bar and the extremely loud music made if difficult to even talk. We ordered our drinks and they were watered down. To get a normal drink required ordering a “double”. We ordered filets and asked specifically not to butterfly them. They brought mine butterflied. Neither steak tasted like a filet - neither taste nor texture. Worst meal/atmosphere we have experienced. We spoke with the manager who did offer us dessert which we respectfully declined- we weren’t looking for a free meal or drinks, we just wanted what we paid for and didn’t get.

Our dinner was delicious. We all ordered filets and they were done perfectly. The waitress was pleasant and attentive to our needs. It was a wonderful experience. The food has really improved from our last time there. The entertainment was amazing too. We will definitely be going back. Great job!!!

We had a great server! The reason I gave less stars for service was because it took an extremely long time for the food to come out. Long after we had finished the appetizers! But, the food was fantastic and our server was very sweet. Great live music too!!

This restaurant seems to improve every time we pay a visit. While the menu is a bit limited, every item that my wife and I have ordered is exceeding our expectations. Last night, I ordered the soup of the day which was a burnt Red-pepper that was delicious and served nice and hot. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I then ordered a NY Strip that came with mashed potatoes, cup of gravy, and vegetable of the day. All of it was delicious and the steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. For 30 dollars, it was the best deal of the entire weekend. My wife enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich that was topped with bacon and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the pleasure of meeting Chell & Dalton at the host desk and received excellent service from Camille. We will definitely return on our next trip to 4 Winds.

We had a pub pretzel which came.hot hot & yummy. Then we both had the chicken sandwich & fries. They were good. The fries weren't very warm tho.

Food is always good but the music is way to loud. We like to talk during dinner and we couldn't and even the waitress couldn't hear our order. We had to point on the menu. I don't get why it has to be so loud. That room is not that big to have it that loud. It made it very unenjoyable, everyone that plays there is way too loud

Our entire dinner was fabulous. I had the filet mignon cooked to a perfect medium rare with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. Beans were crisp tender, potatoes creamy. Husband had BBQ ribs with Parmesan fries and slaw. The sauce was sweet/spicy, and the meat was tender while not falling off the bone. Great job Chef!!!

We’ve dined here many times and the food has generally been good…nothing spectacular but good. Yesterday it was sub par. I had the mac and cheese and there was simply no taste. My husband had the lobster roll I believe it was called and again…it just lacked good flavor, perhaps missing proper seasoning. Service was good and location was certainly convenient as we were staying at the hotel. Not sure I’ll go back regardless of the convenience.

Waitress was outstanding. The food was great. The only thing that was bad was my son asked for medium rare steak and got a well done steak, by the time he got another steak,we were already done eating.
