Chef AZEUCHI trained in the art of Kaiseki Course cuisine in Japan for 16 years. Upon graduating
culinary school, he began studying Kaiseki Course at a hotel. When he turned 27, he became sous-
chef at Hotel Nogamiya.
While there, he participated in a Tokushima Culinary Contest, where he won first prize. When he
was 35 years old, he joined Tofu Kaiseki Restaurant as their head chef.
During this time, he also studied French cuisine for 3 years, training under a Head Chef who had on-
the-job experience working in a prestigious French fine dining restaurant.
Chef Azeuchi quickly became the sous chef in the restaurant. When Japanese Crown Prince
Naruhito - now known as
"His Imperial Majesty the Emperor"- made a royal visit to Kagawa Prefecture, Chef Azeuchi
entertained him with his beautiful dishes.

    We've been here before covid and loved it. Now, the quality of sushi has drop significantly. The staff are amazing but couldn't make up for the quality of food, especially if I am paying $210 per person. For this sushi experience, it's no difference from going to good local Japanese restaurant.

    Omakase. One of the best and intimate dining experiences. Chef Joon patiently went thru each serving and the story behind them all.

    chef and team provided a superb dining experience. it was my first time experiencing sauces as a foam. i thought it was creative, thoughtful, and well executed. i can't wait to come back :)

    Amazing experience!! Chef Azeuchi and his crew were phenomenal. I really felt as though I was back in Japan having this dining experience!

    It’s surprising how full you can get on one piece of nigiri per course. The quality was very good, not as much flourish as Kame Omakase but also much less expensive. The establishment is soon opening a wagyu omakase with a French influence. I do miss the over-the-top of Kame Omakase but not the bill. Kaiseki Yuzu will be in my omakase rotation for certain.

    Fantastic dining room experience. Do not worry about leaving hungry as Chef makes sure you are full. Each dish was delicious and unique - a true pleasure to find this in Vegas. Service was excellent and attentive - can't wait to return!!

    This is an amazing dining experience. Food is fantastic. Very intimate. Service is superb. Interaction with the chef and watching him. Work is amazing.

    Impeccable! Outstanding! We loved it! The plating was breathtaking! The service was beyond reproach! The setting was elegant! The food was so good we are still talking about i a week later. If you can, go!

    I feel like I’m turning into a broken record when I say this is yet another perfectly delicious and amazing meal at Kaiseki Yuzu. You just can’t go wrong with the monthly tasting menu because every course hits its mark and there’s always something for everyone!
