Justin & Mia Devillier, owners and operators of La Petite Grocery, introduce their 3rd restaurant, Justine, a brasserie in New Orleans’ historic French Quarter. We came to Justine to celebrate a graduation. Everything was excellent. Every appetizer, entree, side, dessert was delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Our server was Will and he was great as well! Will definitely be back!

Amazing restaurant, fantastic service. Here for a work conference and chose Justin on a whim. SO glad we did. Our server Taylor was amazing (her recs were spot-on) and I would come here a million more times! Great food, great service, incredible.

Always a great go to! However, I notice that there is an attitude at the bar from the bar tender - with short answers and frankly just snippy. Our server at the table was fantastic, friendly. However, the restaurant needs to refine its service e.g. we ordered numerous appetizers to share - there were no serving utensils presented to serve with; then flatware from the appetizers was just repurposed for dinner ... off putting at this level of dining establishment. Food was excellent. Brussel sprouts have too much 'sauce' covering them - I'd tame that down.

We had been here previously and really enjoyed the food and our experience. Unfortunately this time that was not the case. Our waitress was non attentive & not very friendly. She seemed to be trying to turn our table quickly by taking demanding our entire order at once but then it took forever to get the food. Our reservation was for 2:30 and we didn’t get our appetizers til almost 4 and didn’t finish with entrees and desserts until 5:30. The food seemed overly salted and was just ok. I really enjoyed this restaurant in the past so hopefully they were just having an off day.

Good quality food and very attentive service. We had a transport problem which caused us to be late. Called the front desk and they were very accommodating, a great job considering how busy the restaurant was on Mother’s Day.

Our steaks were either undercooked or slightly overcooked. Service was initially great, then there was a long period of time without any communication. Condiment requests took a second request and we wanted to order another drink, but the waiter never returned.

The food at Justine is always amazing, and this time did not disappoint. We had a party of five at our table and our server was fantastic. She didn't hover but she wasn't absent.

A delightful respite from the noise and frenzy you find in the French Quarter. Delicious and upscale French Creole cuisine done with care and finesse. Service warm and friendly, not at all stuffy. Highly recommended!

Really great food. Reasonable portions. It was weird that the bread they brought was one piece of toasted white bread cut in triangles? We had to ask if they had any other bread, which they did (focasia) but didn’t mention it in the beginning.

Upon arriving, we were seated in the main fining room, which was very cold. Upon asking to sit in a warmer part of the restaurant we taken to the front room, which was more comfortable. It overlooked the street and we enjoyed the view. The food was not wonderful overall. Brussel sprouts were in a sauce that was too spicy for our taste; spinach overcooked and in very small portion; macaroni and cheese was nothing special. Escargot were great, however!

Even though we had a reservation (to be fair we were 10 mins late), we were seated in the back of the restaurant which appeared to be closed so it was just us in an empty/silent dining area while the front looked lively and fun. I found tin foil in my burger and had to spit it out - which was obviously not ideal and apart from that, the burger was over-done. All of that said, the mussels were fantastic and the manager quickly removed the burger from the bill, apologized profusely, and gave two complimentary desserts so I appreciated that. Overall it was fine, but nothing like La Petite and I wouldn’t choose this as a substitute.

My favorite spot. Lots of good nonalcoholic beverages and gluten free options. Not health food, but good modern spins in French bistro fare with a New Orleans twist. I ate safely here multiple times; the staff were great about my eating GF (not by choice, dietary restriction). Brussel sprouts are perfect; as of this review fryer did not have any cross contamination issues. My favorite shrimp and grits of the trip. The NA Riesling is lovely, as are all the mocktails. Hip ambience, a bit more refined but still playful.

I chose Justine’s based on reviews and they did not disappoint. A beautifully well stocked bar and solid wine list. We enjoyed the DJ set for dinner. Smooth sound to add to the ambience. The steak tartar appetizer was made to perfection, as was our entrees and dessert. Enjoyed the conversation with the manager who made us feel very welcomed. Tip of the hat…

Food was great along with the wine, however service was horrible. The young lady acted like we were a burden. She would not fill our water and when asked a question she gave us a smart comment and rolled her eyes at us. Never had this kind of service in Nola.

Order came wrong. One dish never arrived. Waiter did nothing to fix the issue and did nothing to offset our bill. Very disappointed

The maitre de was very polite and accomodating. The food was well above average and quite creative. Our server was pleasant, but not very attentive. There was a big table next to us to which much more attention was paid. We wanted to look at a dessert menu, but it took the server so long to get back to us we just skipped it.

While the food was good, the service was very poor. We had a reservation for 9 and he table did not have enough place settings, we had to request silverware. We continued to run out of water and had to request water several times. One person ordered a drink when the food was delivered and it didn't arrive until we had finished eating. They don't provide you with bread and the only bread you can order and pay for is "toast" - $4 for two pieces. Justine was overpriced for the service we received and I do not recommend this restaurant. There are many other restaurants in New Orleans where the both the food and service are excellent and in the same price range.

Justine never disappoints. The food was delicious, our waitress , Anne Marie, was attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable. The restaurant is beautiful . We all had a wonderful time. I can’t wait to go back.
