Arrived and the service was painfully slow, even though the bar was not full. We ordered a bottle of wine and the wrong one was brought to us. We asked for the one we ordered, it was out of stock. Took another 30 mins for our drinks to arrive. Ordered a second drink and it was forgotten about. Awful - will not be back. So many other good cocktail bars in Edinburgh now.

I really like Juniper. The views of the Castle and Old Town are wonderful. It's nice a quiet and secluded. Lovely food and drinks, and the staff are always so friendly.

Amazing cocktails, nice views and the lovely lady at the bar who made them adapted them to suit us. I really recommend Juniper for cocktails.

Booked for drinks as anniversary celebration. Shown to window seating and was looked after by a lovely young girl who was very chatty and was very attentive.

I always really want to like this place, it used to be a favourite spot but it’s not at all what it used to be. Service really really slow, staff on occasion were abrupt. Drinks menu lacks imagination and d the drink really weren’t all that, with all the competition in Edinburgh Juniper really needs to step up its game!
