So glad we chose Juniper & Ivy to celebrate our anniversary. The food surpassed our expectations, with surprising but not outrageous tastes and textures. And with shared small plates we were able to enjoy a variety of dishes without overeating. The staff were personable and professional.

We came here today for the first time on Mother’s Day. I’m so glad we did. The food and service were outstanding! Our waiter was super helpful. The overall experience was very special and one we will remember.

We enjoyed most of the food of the Mother's Day menu. They phyllo filled with eggplant and some other items did not appeal to me or my daughter. The waiter was very accommodating, returned the dish, and brought out the shrimp and grits, which was quite delicious. My daughter and husband were happy with their choices. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Juniper and Ivy is a higher end restaurant we have enjoyed in the past and will continue to in the future.

I like that they focused on using local producing and supporting local farms. Our server was very friendly. The food came out relatively quickly but there was a decent gap from our last dish and dessert and our waiter was kind enough to give us a free dessert in addition to the dessert we ordered. It was kind of odd we were not given a drink menu but rather was given the whole wine list, but then later when I asked for the drink menu it was different, small deal. I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few Asian flavors on the menu. Definitely a solid meal

Amazingly vibrant and flavorful food! The whole fried fish was extraordinary. Our waiter was personable though we did not order enough food for the 9 of us which became immediately apparent. Lots of people working the front of the house- seemed confusing but they were all lovely we had a fine celebration there

It was just ok, service was great from our server Kirk. But my risotto had a lemon seed and I almost broke mu tooth… then an extremely salty bite as if the rice wasn’t well stirred after seasoning

Good, not great. Certainly not inspired. If local sourcing is important then it’s a great place to go. The salmon appetizer was good but very reminiscent of Costco salmon dip. The crudo on tortilla chip was very subtle and way over powered by the corn flavor of the tostada. Biscuit was good but an odd choice mid meal as it was more dessert like. This was echoed independently from a neighboring table unsolicited. Wife had the rabbit which was very good. I had the flat iron steak which was decent but for $28 for two 1 oz strips I would have expected more. The accompanying potatoes were undercooked and lacked flavor. Deserts were very good. Outside if the excellent service and really cool ambiance I can’t recommend on food alone.

Beautiful ambiance.. we just didn’t have the best experience service wise and weren’t too fond of a few of the plates we tried. Took 40 mins from being seated to get our cocktails, 50 mins til we got our first app.. *shrug*

AMAZING! Food was phenomenal from start to finish, great selection of wines and spread of cocktails, and service was wonderful! Great atmosphere for the area of downtown. Definitely the highlight of our trip and will be back at some point!

We loved the manager she attended to us very well. Apparently, our server was late to work or something so the manager took our drink orders and began our service. Then our server showed up and was terrible. She had a brisk attitude, didn't listen and brought every ones starter our but one do we sat for 20 minutes got the last one and when we asked about it she said its right there “behind us on at the pick up counter” and walked away. It was a really strange experience and so we asked for the manager to take care of us which she did until it got too busy. By the end of the evening a budget was taking care of us. The portions are tiny and the prices are a little high for the size. We have fined here before without this experience so it was disappointing.

Excellent food. Service was excellent also. Never felt like we were abandoned, but not pushed either. Server was knowledgeable and helpful about the menu.

Quality of food is good, and what we had tasted good. I don’t like the limited options and portions of food. Service is great. Cool for a one time experience but I probably won’t go back. It’s just that typical “fancy” restaurant experience of small portions for a high price.

We went for our anniversary and they were so thoughtful and gracious with several special touches throughout the evening. The food was all very tasty. Looking forward to going back to see what the chef creates with the next season.

Wow get the duck. We loved everything. Love the plate sharing concept. Order the yodel dessert even if you have no room. I’m still thinking about it. Service was great and very attentive. Our waiter recommended the Gruner vetliner that we loved.

Dined here for the 2nd time celebrating our wedding anniversary. Had an amazing experience once again. Great service and food and drinks topped off with an awesome dessert on the house. Overall superb dining experience. Will definitely keep coming back.

The food was amazing. We sat outside thinking it would be quieter, but our conversation was drowned out by landing jets and the adjacent Crack Shack. Inside is loud also but that is the better choice. Despite the noise, the food was really special and worth any inconvenience or distraction.

I can't say enough about dinner. It was a thrill for my east coast friends to enjoy what I've been enjoying for years at J&I. We tried to sample a little of everything and it was all together a dining experience for us. Jenny, our extraordinary server, greeted us and got us started with beverages. We gave her our cocktail and wine orders before spending some unrushed time catching up. Our spread included the Mahi Mahi Tostada, Deviled Eggs, Yellowfin Crudo, Japanese Sweet Potatoes, Miso Black Cod, and the pièce de résistance a whole fried Rose Snapper with a large plate of wrap fixins. The presentation of this alone was simply beautiful. We couldn't pick just one dessert so we picked three: I insisted they try J&I's famous Yodel, and we also had the Carrot Cake, and lemon meringue Ice Cream. Oh what a night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
