June’s All Day is a little bit of Paris in Austin—a neighborhood cafe and bar offering late breakfast, brunch, and an all day menu late into the evenings, along bustling South Congress Avenue.

There are so many amazing restaurants to choose from in Austin. It’s tough to know whether to try somewhere new or go back to one you had a good experience at. We wandered into June’s a few months ago and decided to try it again. It did not disappoint. We were hoping for the incredible mussel dish we had the first time, but it was out of season. The other options though we so delicious I’m glad we wound up trying something new. Light and crispy fresh batter on the eggplant and chicken. A delicious tuna crudo and the draft beer selection is on point! We’ll definitely make it back here again.

Surly waitress, really terrible coffee (tasted burned), had to ask more than once for salt and pepper and sweetener, my chalupa plate arrived in 2 parts, first the eggs, then the chalupa and beans five minutes later. Way overpriced for a very loud “diner”. Breakfast for 3 ( no alcohol, no sides, no juice, ) was almost $100 with tip. ( which the waitress did NOT deserve. Really just a very bad choice. Never again.

This was our first time dining at June's all Day and we went for dinner. The atmosphere is like a chic diner and cute, however the tables were so close together that the back of my chair was up against the chair behind me. A warning for those who like to have dinner conversation...the music at 6:00 pm was LOUD techno club like music and my dinner date and I needed to shout at one another. For dinner I had the mixed greens side salad and seriously, there was nothing but lettuce with a vinegar type dressing...not a single cucumber/tomato/olive. We wound up asking for extra parmesan cheese just so there was something on the salad! My entree was the Bone Marrow Bolognaise. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the bolognaise was thick and hearty...a little salty but still liked it. I ordered one of the mocktails but it was so not worth the $15 cost. Our server was awesome, polite and attentive. Because of the loud music and meh salad and drink, we probably wouldn't return.

Wonderful! Very tasty and Shilo was great at knowing where we were with our first course and when to start our mains. The whole team was attentive and worked as a unit. I like going to June’s.

The artichoke appetizer was yummy ! The Matzo Ball soup was delicious as was my friends burger & fries ! The service is excellent! It’s a small business but great as always !! One of my austin go to’s

We had a very good experience. The food and service was excellent. The only complaint is that the tables are small so it was inconvenient to dine with 4 people.
