    Great happy hour, then we both enjoyed their blackened redfish new orleans. Definitely will come back.

    We took some out of town family members to JR last night. All was basically good until our entrees were brought out. (The waitress brought out wrong drink for my husband but that was no big deal.) My sister ordered chicken marsala. She had looked on line beforehand and knew that was what she wanted. The waitress brought her chicken Parmesan and when my sister told her that that was not what she ordered, the waitress gave her a look as if to say "oh yes it was" and kind of rolled her eyes a little. We all heard her order Chicken Marsala. The waitress did repeat the order back but to be honest we didn't hear her and I guess we assumed it was right - do not remember hearing one or the other. Her meal was brought out after we all finished eating (completely) and there was no apology offered, no sorry for the wait, nada. It wasn't that the waitress brought the wrong entree; it was the way she offered no apology and acted like it was my sister's mistake. Also, I had the chicken picatta and the chicken was inedible. I asked my husband to try it because he is less picky and he said it tasted like rubber. We've been to JR several times and have always enjoyed everything about it but this was awful and we will not be going back. I've never in my long life had chicken that tasted like rubber! How does that happen?

    Service was excellent - attentive but not hovering. So many interesting choices on the menu that it makes it had to decide.

    Great selection of foods. Appetizers are particularly outstanding. We had halibut, salmon and scallop dishes. All were really good.

    Very good venue and food selection for business lunch. A bit noisy and crowded on the floor when there is a full house! But good food selections and great service are the best.

    My wife and I have been to Jonathan the Rub numerous times. In fact we are scheduled to go with our adult children on Father’s day. We went this Wednesday as our niece came into town. My wife and I are big fans of the blackened fish plates and again it did not disappoint. Our niece is on Keto so she ordered the T-Bone. As a former big meat eater who unfortunately is no longer able to have red meat I was very interested in her order. Though she stated the steak was very tasty, I was shocked and saddened by the thickness of the steak. Possibly a 1/4 inch maybe smaller, in fact I have never seen a T-bone that thin before in my life. Compared to the many steak houses in town I would not waste my money here for steak, stick to the many other items that they do very well.

    Food and service were great - again. Fries were hot and tasty with Jonathan’s Rub. The mahi mahi tacos were delicious and filling. Service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
