Food was excellent, went for brunch on Mother's Day. Had the most wonderful expresso martini at the suggestion of our server. Service was beyond great, very attentive without being over zealous - it was our first time there and we definitely plan on going back for dinner. Also easy in and easy out, plenty of parking - the Ahern is very nice on the inside. Looking forward to checking out the comedy club there as well.

Joel’s Chophouse is nothing short of outstanding. Everything from the minute we walked in to the minute we left was amazing. The service was incredible and the food was 10/10. Our server Haylie recommended everything we got and she did not disappoint. Everything we tried was delicious. If you go, the truffle mushroom risotto pairs amazing with the filet mignon, as well as the ricotta stuffed raviolis. The cocktails were extremely tasteful, I recommend the Italian espresso martini! Overall Joel’s Chophouse is definitely a hidden gem and very close to the Las Vegas Strip. I definitely recommend coming here for anything from birthdays to anniversaries or just a night out in Las Vegas.

The restaurant is beautiful but sad there was not much business while we were there. But the experience, the food, the service was absolutely wonderful. As long as it remains open, we will visit again. Actually, I loved being pampered due to it being extremely slow!! Great ambiance. Haley, our server and Kat, her assistant were out going and awesome! Thanks Ladies!!

Our dining experience was a 5 star experience from the beginning…Friendly staff from top to bottom. Our waiter was very informative in a very non intrusive way. Lobster Bisque and the Wedge Salad were an excellent start to our meal…My wife’s Salmon was Perfect in every way. My 30 day aged Ribeye (waiters recommendation) was tender, very tasty and cooked to perfection. We will definitely return!!

Food was decent. But the whole vibe is pretty sad. Entrance through an abandoned casino. Very friendly service but painfully slow even though we were just one of four tables dining in the whole place. Couldn’t recommend a return visit.

Joel’s Chophouse was a wonderful experience! Excellent service, amazing food and watching the sunset’s reflection on the Strip hotels while the lights of the Strip “came to life”…Priceless! Chef Joel came to our table & greeted us personally, he’s great, as is the staff. We had a New York Strip, perfect. Crab Cakes that tasted like Maryland & the Oysters were the bomb! Order the Soufflé for dessert, you’ll be glad you did. They also gave us Comp Show tickets. Fantastic. Highly recommended!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday. We got the Tomahawk, and it was the Tomahawk Tuesday special. Couldn't be more pleased with the food and the service. With the special the price was quite reasonable

Wonderful evening at this beautiful restaurant. Setting is very nice with beautiful view of the strip. Dining room nicely appointed, very elegant although when we arrived it was almost empty, within an hour they had filled every table around us and the rest of the restaurant was empty, felt crowded at that point. Service excellent! Food delicious: Spanish Caesar, Octopus, Short Rib Arancini were wonderful! Seafood platter nicely done and Lobster tail along with Mushroom Risotto were excellent entree choices. My second time here in a month and will be back soon!

AMAZING. This is a hidden gem. Hosted a business dinner of 14 and everyone said it was one of the best chop houses/ food they have ever had! Chef Joel came out and introduced himself and went over the menu. We have a variety of appetizers and steaks. Everything was extremely delicious!!! Highly highly recommend this place. Atmosphere was really nice and not noisy. Perfect steak house just a mile and a half from the strip! If you get a chance to go to this chop house, do not second guess it!!

We went for our anniversary dinner. We were absolutely blown away by how good the food was and the service. If I could give a sixth star for the service, I would. We were very well taken care of and the Tomahawk was sheer bliss. Joel’s is a hidden gem and a must go.

Wife and I had a terrific dining experience at Joels. This is really fine dining in Las Vegas with top service. We went on Thursday night and it was pretty empty, and got terrific attention from all waitstaff! Food is priced high - it is high cuisine with impeccable service!

We had a very good business dinner at Joel’s. Excellent food and service at a fare price! I would highly recommend this restaurant! The Chef visited our table after dinner to asks us if we enjoyed the food and thanks us for coming. We will definitely return the next time we are in Las Vegas.

Fabulous new restaurant with great food. We went there for my wife's birthday last Saturday. We were very impressed with the service as well as the quality and taste of the dishes. We were seated at a window table overlooking the hotels on the strip. The waiter Leo and his assistant greeted us by name after we were seated and provided great service throughout the night. They explained the menu, and answered all questions about the menu and gave recommendations. We never had to ask for anything, they were always vigilant and provided everything we needed before we could ask. The menu had a nice variety for a chophouse and the food was fantastic. We are locals and definitly will be back.

The place is gorgeous. What a hidden gem. We first heard about it on Norma Geli's YouTube channel. David was our server. He was great. Had crab cake appetizer & hubby had the shrimp. Both were outstanding. We both had the rib cap which was cooked to perfection.The only negative was it was slightly oversalted with the finishing salt sprinkled on top. It wasn't needed. Our meal was capped off with a delicious chocolate mousse & after dinner cordials both prepared tableside. We will definitely be back!

This establishment was such a jewel find. My Mom recommended it to us as she knew we were visiting from Atlanta and also entertaining Clients after their conference. My wife was so excited. She got to meet Chef and Owner Joel! Thank you to the Staff for all your care, the many recommendations, and overall experience.

WOW Joel's Chophouse at Ahern is Las Vegas' top hidden gem Amazing dining room with nice view overlooking Sahara Ave. Service was impeccable:Cat and Sebastian were on top of things Food was beautifully plated and flavors were exceptional Bone in short rib not to missed Also tableside chocolate mousse was a perfect ending to a phenomenal meal

Beautiful restaurant with incredible views. We were attracted to the restaurant because of $99 monster 2 1/4 lbs lobster special. The cocktails were excellent. We had old fashions and a specialty cucumber and mint cocktail. The Caeser’s salad with white anchovies was crispy and tasty. Although flavorful and cooked well the lobster was underwhelming in size and covered in French fries between the split halves. The lobsters “, and we had 3 were the 1 1/2 lbs size not what was advertised. The baked Alaska was not flamed at the table. The wine selection was excellent. Overall good experience. I would have liked to have seen a much better presentation of the lobsters since they were the main event.

This was a wonderful evening and beautiful setting! The restaurant is beautiful with big open views of the strip as the lights come on. We went for Lobster special but after thinking about it decided to go with a Lobster tail each, they were big and juicy and beautifully prepared, delicious! Started with Spanish Caesar salads, yummy. Then the appetizer of Spicy Lamb Cavatelli, which was awesome! And with our Lobsters we had perfectly prepared Asparagus and mashed potatoes...our entire group truly enjoyed everything, delicious wines were added as well. We tried 4 desserts, table side Mouse was wonderful as was the Pear Almond Tart and Baked Alaska. Leo was out server and he was great, attentive, friendly and took great care of all 8 of us! Will definitely return, this was a perfect evening!!!

This restaurant was fantastic! Lobster bisque was packed full of flavor and tons of lobster meat. Scallops cooked to perfection. Steak was absolutely delicious. Our server was knowledgeable, extremely attentive and made our experience even better. Will definitely be back when I return to Vegas

Went on a Saturday and ordered the Date Night Saturday special. For $199 you get a starter, an entree, 2 shareable sides, dessert and a bottle of wine. When compared to other steak houses on the strip this place really gives you more bang for your buck. All food choices were delicious! So flavorful. Ambience was low lit and romantic, even more romantic if you get a window seat with view of the casinos. Not busy at all. At times you'll see chef Joel out greeting people. Customer service was excellent. The servers are attentive and you truly feel special. It was worth the taxi ride there all the way from the south end of the strip and will be coming back!

Order the “2 1/2 lb” Lobster special on Friday nights. Lobster was not 2 1/2 lbs - 1 1/2 at best. We are from New England and know what a 2 1/2 lb lobster should be. Also one lobster was bad - tail completely mush, fries were OVER seasoned. Just awful. On a side note -wait staff were great.

Biggest issue was the location, it was very hard to find, Uber driver couldn’t find it, after being dropped off we couldn’t find the restaurant, had to ask several people where it was. After dinner the next Uber driver couldn’t find us standing outside, we had to call a 2nd Uber, it was not good. I would not recommend this place because of the location and would not go back there because of the location, too many great restaurants in Vegas that are easy to find!
