Food and service were wonderful, as usual. I was disappointed that I had made a reservation quite early for this date with family and we ended up seated in the bar without even being asked. It was noisy and the TVs were distracting, especially since we had planned a nice dinner out for Mother’s Day.

Ate here for the first time for dinner on Mothers Day. They did not offer their Sunday Funday menu because they had a special Mothers Day brunch earlier in the day. The prosciutto and burrata cheese plate was soooo good. Next time I think I'll just order that for my meal instead of sharing as an app! My daughter and I both got the crab cake appetizer for our meal and shared the brussel sprouts. The sprouts were really good, the crab cakes, not so much. Too much breading and they were served on a bed of tartar sauce, which was a little weird. My husband got the filet mignon salad and he said the meat was good, but the salad was just iceburg and meh. My son got the prime rib sandwich, and said he would have preferred a toasted bun, but overall it was fine. Lastly we got the carrot cake to share for dessert - I apparently didn't read the description as I was surprised it was made with buttercream instead of cream cheese frosting. Not my favorite. Our server was nice enough, but had to ask twice for my son's coke to be refilled and my husband's ice tea to be refilled. The place itself was very nice - great atmosphere. Not sure if we'll be back - definitely some good points, but not enough to rave about our experience.

Food was very good and we came because of the Mother's Day special - 1/2 off second entree -- otherwise food is so expensive. But for a special occasion, it is good.

We love Jimmy's but I think we will avoid it on holidays. They offered a Mother's Day deal but the portions were smaller than their normal portions on a regular day. The food is great and the service is always excellent!

Mothers' Day brunch so busy and noisy is the norm. Attentive front desk, wait staff and clean/set up staff. The vegetable medley was over cooked and the Brussel sprouts were not cooked long enough (tough and difficult to cut) but overall, it was a nice experience and worth the value of the cost.

We went to Mother’s Day buffet. Food was excellent and perfect temperature. Wait staff were on their toes with serving and clearing dishes. Very splendid experience.

Very nice spread for mother’s day and friendly service from host stand to prime rib carver to server. Holidays are always a little pricier, but food prices and labor and rent are all pricy for the proprietor. A great time was had by all.

Enjoyed Mothers Day brunch, family of 8; numerous food options, unable to try all, but all tried delicious. All tables full (as expected), so multiple surrounding conversations, but still able to hear each other well at our table; absence of background music helpful. Have enjoyed similar brunches at Jimmy's in the past and anticipate doing so again in the future.

Service was amazing, the food was not what we expected from the quality of steak, to the little to no flavor, greasy au gratin potatoes. Warm glasses for the beer- just little touches that make the experience nice are missing here.

If you arrive before 6pm, make sure you ask for the happy hour menu....the food is great, a bit pricey on the normal menu...far more reasonable during happy hour...and they have dinner entre's on it.

Went to Jimmy’s based on the positive reviews for the prime rib. Our party of 5 all ordered it. It was cold, the au jus seemed like it was pulled out of the fridge, and half way through we got the giggles because it was so tough there was absolutely no conversation! Just chewing and sawing at it with our steak knives. The vegetables were good (asparagus and Brussels sprouts!). We won’t be back.

Great service and food but it’s so noisy that it is hard to have a conversation. Prices have also gone up quite a bit

As seen at grocery stores, food costs have risen significantly and we're proud to offer by far the most reasonably priced menus at an upscale restaurant in the Twin Cities. Another exceptional happy hour At Jimmy’s. The food and drinks were fantastic as usual and our server William W. was absolutely amazing. He showed his true character when he proudly escorted at elderly gentleman to the men’s room and back and did so with pride on taking customer service to another level. Bravo William!
