We were traveling from California and discovered this location because it was within walking distance of our hotel. We made our reservation shortly as the restaurant opened, so the atmosphere was peaceful and we appreciated it. Our server, Beau, offered the best customer service we've received thus far. He was incredibly friendly and attentive. My boyfriend ordered the Cowboy steak and absolutely enjoyed every bite! He thought it was tasty and said it was the greatest steak he’s had! I tried the lobster and the filet mignon, which were both delicious. For dessert, we got Crème Brûlée, which was amazing. We will surely return here the next time we are in the neighborhood.

Our waiter was nice. The man who kept our drinks filled and packed our stuff was amazing and precious. Loved him. Music was wonderful. Drinks and food were perfect!!!!! Didn't expect to spend 500.00 for two of us but a great experience.

Very fun experience. Sam was our waiter and I would highly recommend him. Extremely knowledgeable about wine and took him to educate us on our selected wine. He certainly put a wedge between other steakhouses in the area - Jeff Ruby’s will be hard to beat! Thank you for a great evening.

Just had drinks, appetizers, and sushi after a 1/2 marathon. Food was delicious!! Staff is very pleasant. Thank you Clayton Baker and Peter for making our tired evening so enjoyable!

Never had a New York melt in my mouth like Wagyu. Amazing foo, ambience and Sam was the best. I’ll definitely be back when in Nashville again.

We’ve been to JR‘s steakhouse in Nashville numerous times. The service is always impeccable, along with the food and ambience. This time, however, they totally missed the mark. The service was very slow and unattended. We were there an hour and a half while we were there, we only had two glasses of wine oysters, and our salads. By the time the food came, we weren’t hungry and we were bored. We told them to just box it up. Everything seem to take forever. Lots of excuses lots of apologies, but there was no recognition during the wait as to why. That’s a sign that someone’s not paying attention. I expect more out of Jeff Ruby and their service. Note: they did comp a portion of the bill, but even paying that to forever! All in all: a swing and miss!

It was fine dining at its best! Jeff Ruby’s is a powerhouse in fine cuisine and stands amongst only a handful of fine seafood and steak restaurants in all of Nashville. The service is outstanding and Paul, our waiter for the evening, is a gentleman and knowledgeable of everything on the menu. The ambience and aesthetic details of artistry and memorabilia collections add to the warm decor.

The food was amazing. I went with the Australian Waygu ribeye fillet. It was ok. My wife got the 12oz filet mignon collingsworth, it was amazing! Oyster Rockefeller was great, wedge salad was the best I’ve ever had. Etc

Sam was the best server of our entire experience in Nashville. He was very caring and thorough with all of our orders. He paid attention to every detail and was able to cater to my vegan diet. I would 100% recommend this restaurant. The food was phenomenal, and we will for sure be back next time we visit Nashville.

Jeff Ruby’s was a wonderful dining experience. Sam was our waiter and did an outstanding job. We had a Caesar salad, the Bourbon steak and the butter pie. Beautiful ambiance and a great band playing through dinner. Expensive but exceeded our expectations.

Honestly I wasn't sold on the main entrée. I enjoyed the service everyone was very kind. The drinks were okay, the sushi was really good. The ambiance was very chill and the live entertainment was nice too.

We are always thrilled to dine at Jeff Ruby's. It was my birthday this month and my son's last month. Both celebrated here. Fantastic. Worried about service here? You shouldn't. At all. If something isn't right say something and it is handled. Most bad service experiences are from us diners not saying anything and suffering in silence. Don't. And when you slip into your groove at Jeff Ruby's the world all makes sense again. Eli is the champ of the restaurant. He re-defines customer service. Savor every moment while listening to the fabulous live music in the bar. Heard from afar in the dining room. Priceless.

We had the most amazing experience for my husband’s birthday dinner. We loved our server, Darryl. We was the most gracious and attentive person. The food was fantastic. We both enjoyed our steaks. The mock tails were delicious. And that chocolate cake was over the top! We came here because of numerous positive reviews. And this place totally delivers! Thank you all for a wonderful, wonderful evening of celebration.
