Love the food and service. The owners are always around stoping by the tables to make sure everything is going well. The Sunday brunch is small but the food is delicious, check out the tomahawk steak that they slice up for brunch and the ribs, the tomahawk is better than any prime rib that other brunches serve!.

The experience did not match previous reviews. The meat was cold and lacked flavor. The best part of the buffet was the made to order omelets and the spinach salad.

Th brunch was shockingly good for the price. The staff was friendly and owner stopped by our table multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back

First time here. We both ordered steak, which was very good. I also had the wedge salad which was also good. The Mac n cheese was a little lack luster, but everything else was great.

Ribs were to die for, will be going back for the ribs. 2 of 3 steaks were not cooked to medium-well and were very red, blood juicy red. They took the steaks back and re-heated and that made it even worse. Plate was basically untouched. Asked if I could change my order , for an even higher priced item and I was told “no that makes them upset” so I just didn’t eat my food. Server came back around and asked how everything was and asked if I wanted a to go carton and I said no that’s ok , I won’t be able to eat it the steak. She then said let me ask if you can get a discount. She came back and said we are gonna remove it from the bill but I have to take your plate. It was all very weird. The server was a sweetheart I think a little new and worried about the back of the house. It was fine about the steak but to say that will upset them, that really bothered me , well I’m upset I can’t eat my steak. I also would have liked to order a different plate or at least have my veggies. Our bill was almost $300.00 so just a little disappointed

Was made to wait over 50 minutes,Then got seated, no plates at buffet. No one checked on or gave us any service. Was so bad had to leave. Could not eat. Had no silverware. Was just upset

We went for the Sunday Brunch. The service was great! It was busy and we didn't have to wave anyone down to get service. They had a pretty good selection of food. The ribs needed a little bit more sauce and the steak was ok. The variety of gravies were good. The vegetables were steamed to my liking. The set up of the buffet is a little off. The omelet station looked pretty good and organized but I didn't get to try it.

The service took a moment but once we got going, we were checked up on by multiple staff multiple times throughout our stay. The food was less than expected and actually pretty small compared to what was shown on social media (which is what attracted us in the first place). Seeing as how you can’t get a meal from McDonald’s for under $15, the $33 for the brunch wasn’t bad. $5 for a soda was pretty steep but it is what it is. I probably won’t be returning for brunch but may go back for a regular menu dinner. Our party was 6, not sure why it says 1.

They seemed to be badly understaffed for a fully booked brunch. It took 15-20 minutes for someone to take our beverage order. The server at the carving station was miserly with the serving. I took two plates in an effort to receive a satisfactory serving. The omelet station was the one area that didn't disappoint. All considered, driving 50 miles for this, I'll stay closer to home.

Such a pleasant surprise & upgrade from the old Spunky Steer. There were 7 of us, each had a different menu choice for dinner, and we all loved it. Filet mignon was wonderful and chipotle Mac n cheese was yummy. There are 10 of us who will be there for Sunday brunch in March…can’t wait. This is definitely a little gem for Jurupa. You’ve got to try it.

This is a hidden gem in our community. The owner and chef come out to check on their patrons. The staff is always friendly and check in on us frequently. The food is great and they have a really good Sunday Brunch spread. We have been going since they opened and are looking forward to when they open their Bar area so we can go for Happy Hour! :)

One of the most amazing and most memorable times I’ve had eating out with the family! The entire staff is so friendly and so attentive the entire time we were dining. The meals prices were also very reasonable and the food was amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back here again soon!

Our first time eating at this restaurant. I will not eat there again. We were seated and then ignored for 30 minutes. No one came to our table to serve us. After watching several people come in after us and receiving service, I was not impressed at all. I got up and walked over to the hostess and informed her that we had been waiting for service for over 30 minutes. Mind you we made a reservation the day before and the restaurant was not busy when we arrived! They were out of steak and ribs. So I came to a Steakhouse that has no steak! Horrible service horrible food spent $180. 00 and it was a complete waste of my time and money. Go to Texas roadhouse you’ll thank me later.

First time trying JDs and we were impressed! Wonderful, attentive service. Quality drinks, appetizers and main courses. Ordered the New York Stip, which did not disappoint. Quality beef, perfect sear and seasoned just right. Ordered baked potato and seasonal veggies (sides weren't anything special), the steak was definitely the star. Resturaunt could definitely work on the ambience, as it still feels like Spunky Steer days... We will definitely go back, it's about time JV had a quality steakhouse again!

My husband and I had dinner there last night. Our server, Oscar was great! Very attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious, we had the bruschetta appetizer, which was great. However it was the steaks that were excellent! We had 8 oz filet & the skirt steak, both were cooked perfectly and practically melted in your mouth. And they were served on a wooden board! Will definitely go there again.

Had a great meal at JD’s . Our server was great , very friendly and helpful . The food was very good . Had the filet , the ribs , and a sirloin. All were cooked perfectly. It’s a little difficult to get to the restaurant because of road construction but we figured it out with Waze and was definitely worth the trip .

Hidden gem!! Was brought here for my birthday dinner. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Made excellent suggestions that did not disappoint. Steak was perfectly cooked. Chicken was moist and well seasoned. Ribs fell off the bone and very delicious. The chef came out at the end of our dinner, introduced himself and asked how our experience was. He was extremely friendly and funny. He ended by recommending we try their Sunday brunch. Will absolutely be going back!
