Alpine Bubbles winter restaurant at Jasna Lake in Kranjska Gora

While evenings are getting colder, warm your hearts alongside your family and friends enjoying the view of frozen waters of Lake Jasna in Kranjska Gora, staying warm and cozy in one of our signature Alpine Bubbles winter restaurant. Our offer focuses on the thoughtful meaning of “sharing is caring” and communal eating as people did a long time ago. Plate-sharing psychology has long been seen as a way to promote bonding: a family that eats together stays together, goes the saying. Reservation of the table possible only for dinners under the stars from 6PM to 8PM (last seating). Each Alpine Bubble is for a max of 10 persons and your stay-time is limited to 1,5 h, while love has no limits at all, therefore spend this time speaking from your heart and smiling from your soul. Please let us know your menu decisions upfront.

Lokacija je lijepa ali usluga užas!!! Imali smo rezervirano za Iglu u 19:45h,došli smo i prije vremena i nema mjesta, neka pričekamo 10 min. U Iglu smo ušli u 20:30h, dobili smo meni koji se sastoji samo od 4 menia. Konobar nas je nakon 20min pitao koji želimo meni. Želimo riblji meni, e nemaju više, dakle na izbor 3 menia. Uzeli smo dječji meni jer ti se više ni ne jede. Od ponude dječjeg menia od slijedova, nemaju to... To... To.... Ok, što ima... Grijalica nije radila, smrzli smo se. Od 3 vrste deserta imaju samo palačinke koje su se pekle u 15h popodne a tada je bilo već 21:45h,dakle hladne, žilave, nikakve. Pomfrit hladan nije jestiv. Wc nema papira, nema sapuna, kvaka se neda zaključati. Meni jedan za jednu osobu košta oko 50 eura, ne da nije vrijedno nego preskupo za to što nude odnosno ne nude. Bolje smo se najeli u centru Kranjske gore.

After looking at the menu on the page, we thought we would already have a multi-course menu, and that we would just choose which one to order. The food they offer is OK, nothing special, but the prices are more expensive for such food probably because of the ambience. It was very cold in the igloo as one heater didn't work because they didn't have gas, and the other was poor. The windows were boarded up and dirty and you couldn't see out. Those of us who were sitting near the window had wet sleeves. Unfortunately we couldn't move a little to the left because it was full and another couple was already sitting next to them, and behind them a family. They say they offer a view, but there was no view.Beautifully thought out and badly executed. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Me and my boyfriend had a very nice dinner! The food was delicious and the waiter was kind and helpful!

S kolegicami smo rezervirale iglu, ker nam je bil všeč meni objavljen na spletni strani zraven rezervacije, vendar ta že nekaj časa sploh ni na voljo in so ga ‘pozabili’ umakniti. Razočarane smo naročile istrske fuže s tartufato in govejo tagliato, ki pa so bili čisto brez okusa in razkuhani, goveja tagliata pa to sploh ni bila….osebje še kar prijazno, vendar ne zna govoriti slovensko in se tudi ne trudi, da bi.

The breakfast was below average, very dissapointing. The poached egg was overcooked like a hard boiled egg, the coffee was very bad, eggs were just put on a toast without any butter or a spread of somesort, very dry alltogether, you would think that experience in an iglooo would match the breakfast, but no, also not worth the money, too expensive for what you get…
