Maybe because it was a holiday, but the food and service were not what we have experienced in the past. It wasn't "horrible" just not what it was in January when we dined there last.

The flavor of the dishes didn't meet my expectations, nor did the drinks. The service fell short of the friendliness we anticipated, and the atmosphere was uncomfortably cold. Overall, it was overpriced for what was offered. I won't be returning.

I love everything in the restaurant food was delicious I ordered the chile relleno with steak and was amazing, service was so fast and drinks very good I highly recorecommend this place

Jalisco Norte is more than likely the sexiest Mexican joint in Big D! It clearly outclasses the majority of the other Mexican restaurants and is a very good dining choice.

Surprisingly refined and delicious. Tucked into the corner of a strip mall, we were pleasantly surprised by the next level dining offered.

Great Sunday Brunch! Love going there it’s good food and vibe but peaceful. Good margaritas. Just wish they had regular pickled jalapeños the Serrano peppers are great but too hot for me.

This a a fantastic place for Sunday brunch when looking for some Mexican flare. The drinks are also very special here.

It’s been awhile since we’ve been here, but so happy to have returned for brunch today. Our server was awesome, very attentive and friendly. I had two of the brunch Palomas, which were refreshing and prefect. The migas were tasty and the beans were packed were flavor. A great brunch experience, with nice ambiance.

The only good thing about last night's experience was the food. We were rushed to order because the kitchen was closing ( 15 minutes after our reservation), drinks were underwhelming, and the services did not exist ( they rushed us but could not be bothered to bring the check to the table; we had to look for the waitress)

Service was good… Good atmosphere…. Food. Mehhh. Some of the simple dishes have too much creativity and as a result takes away from the experience. Probably won’t go back… too many other spots where the food is better in DFW

As a Mexican myself, I thought this place would be one of those Mexican places that cater to certain people but this place is really really good and authentic, judging by the area it’s in. Being from Jalisco myself I highly highly recommend this place to everybody and will definitely be going back. The waiters were great the food was really great and the vibe was great. Nothing negative about this place at all.

Nice location, great interior. The chips and salsa were good, but I wish I got more before my main course arrived. We ordered the queso and chicken flautita appetizers which were both fantastic. For main courses we got the brisket enchiladas which were amazing and the sea scallops. I wouldn’t have minded having more scallops on the plate but it was still very good.

The food is absolutely amazing. Everything that came from the kitchen was flavorful and well presented. My only issue with Jalisco Norte was the cleanliness. My napkin, glassware, and utensils were dirty. The restrooms were nice, but again dirty. Even the handsoap was watered down and left stains on the counter. Overall, we had a good meal & experience at Jalisco Norte. Would recommend to a friend and hope it is cleaner.

Amazing - delicious and innovative food and cocktails. You simply must have the ceviche and okra. The tacos al pastor are the only authentic ones I’ve had this far north - delicious! And the service was outstanding. We’ll be returning often!

We celebrated my mom’s birthday, group of 20 our server did a great job! As a family from Jalisco, Mexico this restaurant is 100% Authentic! Their food was delicious. Their speciality drinks are great as well. My entire family gives this restaurant a 10!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice before and it was phenomenal. This visit was horrible. The restaurant wasn’t full, service was very slow (15 minutes for drinks to arrive) food was cold when it finally arrived (took over 30 minutes after ordering) and 1 in our party got her food 15 minutes after the rest of us. It was the shrimp entree and the waitress said it was a glitch with their new ordering system. The manager never came to check on us when we voiced a complaint. We then received a piece of cake for our trouble- it was still frozen. We will never go back.

The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent in the tree house room! The seafood enchiladas were excellent, made just right with a delicious sauce. We also enjoyed the tasty frozen margaritas. We will definitely return soon.

I appreciate the ambiance of the restaurant, but I'm disappointed as they accepted my 8:45 PM reservation, only to find out they close at 9:00 PM. No notification was given, and the kitchen was already closed, rendering the reservation unfulfilled. Improved communication on scheduling would enhance the overall experience tremendously.

Overall- So far the best that we have tried in the Dallas area. Drinks - great! Food- Everything we tried was great, except - SHRIMP AL MOJO DE AJO - Very Very salty- our server acknowledged the issue, but did nothing to make it right. Something I would have expected from a high end restaurant. NOT Veggie/Vegan friendly - Very Very limited options. No other dish could be modified :( !!!!!! Dessert - Churros were the star of the night! Would I go back - May Be!!!

Jalisco has really gone down hill since it first opened. We got sat next to the kitchen in an empty restaurant. Queso hit the table before chips did. Waiter mumbled and the food just isn’t what it was.
